Let's get started with today's lesson.
Do we say everybody is happy or everybody are happy?
Even though everybody refers to multiple people it takes a singular verb.
Everybody is happy.
Everybody likes pizza.
Not everybody likes pizza.
It's the same for somebody, anybody and nobody.
Somebody is stealing money from the store.
Does anybody want coffee?
Not do anybody.
Nobody was ready for the test.
Not nobody were.
It's also the same for everyone, anyone, someone and no one.
There's no difference.
Thanks for watching and I'll talk to you tomorrow.
