I want to talk.
I can't lie.
I was like, it's going to be short, sweet and very spicy.
And we're going to get right into it because apparently some of you are going to talk too much.
It's so interesting how I feel preparing to share this episode with you because this is something that I exercise and practice daily.
And I will also note that since turning 40, this has really strengthened and that is just overall how to strength.
How to strengthen your power.
How each and every one of us hold this incredible power within us.
And a lot of us walk around so unaware of it.
And having a podcast has been so incredible because really using social media as this front door of understanding the things that we're going to do.
And understanding the things that you would love for me to elaborate on and really just share my experience and break down the process of how I have transitioned some things in my life in order to really live a life of just like more happiness and more connectivity,
more purpose and just feeling good about the way we're moving through this world.
It's a damn good feeling and I will tell you it's a practice just like everything else.
So we are going to break it down for you guys.
You love the steps and I love to deliver in steps because I find that it really is a tangible bite size takeaway.
For each and every one to really break it down.
I highly recommend with these episodes.
I know a lot of people are walking around.
I am typically walking around New York City or I'm doing my makeup listening to a podcast, but I love to go back to episodes and then sit in my bed at night after my legs are up the wall.
You know my habits, my breakdown of my routines here.
But and just to like take some notes and recap these things that really stood out for me so that you can put them to play to really put them to practice and try it on for yourself.
So let's dive right in with number one.
To me the most important thing with even thinking about strengthening your power is to really get clear with how you are showing up each and every day in your life.
How you feel and to really turn on that self awareness lever so that you can be really really mindful of what's actually presently going on in your mind in your body in your actions and then getting clear with how you would like to feel.
And I love to give an example because for me, something came up recently where I was leading a meeting on something and it was so interesting what came up for me because it was like immediately like I was feeling insecure.
I was feeling all the lack and I took that moment to like get crystal clear with those things that were coming up.
And then like what are the things and these thoughts that are supporting these decisions right so I think like to create these examples in your life like if you have a meeting that you are preparing for and you are feeling anything but confident.
I want you to write that down and just make note of that like feeling very insecure when I have the baton passed to me and it's my turn to present something in a meeting.
So just just like be with that right there, it's hard to do, but just acknowledge it write it down and then the second thing is this is truly the thing that I stay the most true to.
And that is to go with your gut. But how do we go with our gut. It all comes back to connecting with this internal system that we have with it, whether that is in this can look different for everyone.
For me really finding that daily commitment to my meditation practice and even saying a prayer at the end of my meditation where I am strengthening that intuition within myself.
But then at the end to give over and to ask for assistance or to ask for support and it can look or sound as simple as I do not feel clear on this thing that is coming up in my life.
Please show me the way.
And you have to listen. It all comes back to asking for the signs and then really through this process of being with yourself and sitting with yourself you guys instead of going and opinion shopping to all of your friends.
And just talking about it with maybe people who can give great valuable advice, but I think it's really important for us to trust ourselves and to trust this higher power that is supported in the universe and to really lean into that and I truly do feel the more that you can sit in silence.
And to be with yourself in the things and the thoughts and the ideas that come up the more clarity you will gain just right there.
And to also to lean on those really trusted resources in your life for me, having a therapist and a spiritual coach and someone that I feel like I can tell anything to from an unbiased place that won't get passed around through different friend groups or just talked about amongst other circles is really, really important.
And as I am growing as a woman, as an entrepreneur, as a mother, as a wife, I will say that this is something that is really supporting me in continuing to move through my life, feeling much more powerful.
The third step is to get very intentional about where you are giving and putting your energy.
I don't think a lot of us are that clear with this and we are either walking around, spending our day doing all of the damn things that drain us, or we are doing the things that are giving us more life that are filling ourselves up.
And that is how we give ourselves more energy, how we feel naturally just more inspired and more motivated to wake up on the days when you don't have the plans and you don't have a trip booked.
And you don't have those things, tangible things that you are looking forward to, but it helps you to enjoy the simplicity of waking up and having this beautiful life that we live in front of us and to maybe look at those things that we do and to find more gratitude with it.
So for me it's getting really intentional about where I put my energy is, what are the things I say yes to, what are the events, what are the dinners, who are the people I'm saying yes to, and having these checkpoints with yourself on walking away from certain situations and really understanding that that made you feel drained,
and we're just in a situation where it's like the blood got sucked out of you. And then to also acknowledge the circumstances and the things in our life that make you actually feel high, and that you're vibrating on a different frequency.
To just bring it back like wow this is number three, get intentional where you were putting your energy. I believe that this intentional way of moving through your life expands the more you come back to sitting in the silence to being with yourself,
to doing the things to strengthen that internal system within.

Step four can be the hardest for a lot of people. And I'll be honest, it's something I feel challenged with every single day.
And it's letting go of the ego mind that wants to lean into moving through life with more fear, more reactivity, and really tapping into moving through life with more heart, with more love,
with really seeing this realm of infinite possibilities that live before us when we strip those layers of ourselves.
And I have really gotten to this place where I have so much clarity around when I'm moving through things with ego.
And unfortunately, I'll be honest, it's like after I've already done it. It's like after I already said the thing that God I wish I just gave a pause.
And I just gave myself that moment or that beat to just think before I like put action behind words that flew out of my mouth because my ego felt sore or attacked.
And this is hard. It's really hard to do. And a lot of people walk around just living in their ego and they're not even an ounce bit of being self aware of that.
So we have two more steps to go, but just to take a breath because I feel like this can get like list heavy and, you know, we're just sitting here checking off the boxes and that's not what this is.
This is about really breaking things down in a way so that we can actually internalize and hear them and digest them so that we can continue to strengthen these muscles that we have inside so that we can really show up in a bigger way for all of the things.
For the simple everyday things and then for those big life events.
And what gets you to walking through those those bigger, maybe more pivotal moments is to to really take those small steps daily and to implement these practices that help us really recognize more of how we are moving through our day.
The fifth step is, I love this one.
It's trusting the process and having faith real faith and finding faith in this incredible, infinite realm of possibilities that live so vividly within all of our worlds.
But it's to getting to that place where you can connect to the things that bring you back to really believing so that you can no matter what's coming up, even if it's something that makes you feel as if something isn't happening, but to trust that maybe what is happening is not what you wanted.
But it's what you needed to grow.
That one is something that I think a lot of us believe we have all the answers and we know what the next step should be.
But to really trust that there is a power greater than all of us.
And whatever it is, whatever you want to call it, a higher power, God, whatever it is that you feel really connected to.
And to really breathe in and to trust that there is a path that is being paved for you, for each and every one of us in our own unique different ways.
And to lean in to that process when things don't go our way, or when they're showing us a different way.
To trust there's a reason behind it.
Okay, I may have said this a few times that I think this is my favorite or the thing.
I actually don't think I said that yet.
But step number six is something that gives me like full body chills.
And it's something that has me moving through my life differently.
And that's to embody.
To really embody and to move with confidence.
And to visualize that way that you want to feel when you are showing up for that dream job or that thing you so deeply desire in your life.
And to get so clear with the feeling that you feel in every cell in your body.
When you are going to walk through those doors.
And this confident loving being that shows up and moves through these challenging things in life.
And I will say that I really believe that it starts with that embodiment.
And sometimes I even I look at someone I admire.
I'll give an example.
I look at.
I mean there's so many.
There's so many people I admire.
And I'm like, oh, brah.
Even like Diane Monfer-Simberg, Julie Roberts.
I'm like, how are these women showing up for these things like confident with this inner knowing of who they are of what they're what we're here to do.
And maybe even if you're not feeling it in that moment.
Let your shoulders roll back, stand a little taller, let that posture and the energy introduce you before you say a thing.
And with that embodiment becomes this believing to really connect with that believing and believing that you are this person you are this being.
And I promise you that you are that we all are.
We just have to exercise these muscles within ourselves and remind ourselves of this beautiful power and strength that we all hold and we hold it in different ways.
And we share it in different unique ways.
And each and every way is so damn beautiful and it is so different.
And that's the beauty of it.
And after you're embodying and you are believing.
And then I want you to continue carrying that energy and becoming as if you already became that version of yourself.
And to allow that person to move through these things in life that we start to second guess or we're feeling insecure about and to come back to that feeling.
And that person who you admire and just maybe tapping a little into their strength and their power because I will say when you energetically can even call someone in.
It can show up for you in your energy and the way that you move through these things.
I'm telling you this and I'm sharing this with you because I never believed in myself.
And I used to think only certain people had certain powers and certain strengths and certain gifts.
And what I have really learned to know is that we all do every single one of us.
And maybe there have been life circumstances that have pushed those things down.
But there are practices and there are things that you can do to help bring them to life and to bring them out so that you can tap into this strength.
It's incredible power that you hold when you need it most when you need to be reminded of who you really are.
Because it is something that I never would have believed.
And now I believe and I embody with everything inside of me.
I share this with so much love and compassion and empathy for anyone who feels anything but this way.
And to just know and to hold that faith and that trust in this process of sitting with these steps, being really honest with yourself and continually coming back.
It's circling back to your practice that is going to strengthen these muscles in the mind.
The same way we strengthen the muscles in our body when we work out and when we keep showing up on our mat in ways beyond your wildest, wildest dreams.
