Episode 169 | Nakamigos Misstep | Stoner Cats Fined | Machi Big Brother | Friend Tech |

Welcome back to another episode of NFT catcher podcast. We'd like to remind everybody that nothing on the show is meant as financial advice and to please do your own research. Thank you and enjoy the show. Now the subject is NFT. They're known as non-fungible tokens or NFT. What's up everyone and welcome back to another episode of the NFT catcher podcast with me Jenny from the blockchain and my co-host Michael Keane. Today we're going to be talking about what happened in the past week in the NFT space and Michael's got some juicy topics for us starting with I don't know is this a sensitive topic for you Michael to think about not at all not at all. It's fine everybody was like oh you're doing good yeah yeah so are you talking about knock amigos right off the bat not to get into our first show in two weeks now it's all good let's go. That's true. It has been our we have been now let's get right into it. We'll talk about that okay we'll look back we'll look back. Knock amigos out of nowhere nobody asked for this like a week ago whatever they were like hey we have 20,000 more we're going to call them the cloaks and if you're a holder of the first one you get a huge advantage you get for two hours before everybody else you get to buy them at 0.05 and then everyone else gets to buy whatever's left so great. Yeah I mean I don't know I think in the bull market dropping a second collection that cost money with not really a benefit to all there's besides a little window opportunity to mint first would have been totally cool put it in the bear market and especially when they've already yeah they've already made a lot of money nobody even knows who they are right right it's just kind of needed but you need a thousand each now right that's what I said that's what it is it you know 0.5 times 20 thousand is a thousand each like yeah what is going on so they people start freaking out the floor price is 0.45 like it was obviously doing really well like it was doing its thing waiting for the review waiting for what was going to happen in the fall and that happened the floor went all the way down overnight to point one eight and like looked like it was like dead and I know so on the way down I sold half of mine at at point two oh yeah are you buying just for reference remember they were like point four three and you were like sell some of them please no no no no because you know I kept the I just keep thinking about Richard oh my god and why he was like you have to stop thinking about Richard first of all I said I've never told you that Richard well okay no wait no oh he said that on the thing oh yeah he also talks about knock amigos when I met him in person did he oh great nice and this is so for people that don't know in our gas worst segment where Richard was on the podcast one of my questions innocently we had never talked about knock amigos the whole episode and I say what's the most underrated NFT project he goes not to be goes yeah like I'm really really I guess I said who's the founder he's a we don't talk about that he said yeah he said that's twice we don't talk about that with a big smirk on his face I'm pretty sure he knows so I taught I definitely I met him at beacon at like the speakers on whatever and I was like oh my god you're Richard like and I took a picture with him and everything then we started chatting and Nick small was there who he's like some 15-year-old kid I know that I know that we should get him on the pod he'd be funny to have a mix awesome yeah yeah so he was like all like it was that matters and agame goes like he was like really pressing and like you know and he's a kid so he doesn't give a f so I was just there like sitting back and observing you know and then but yeah it kind of seemed like he knew who the founders were like he like I know he knew I know that that verifies it what he did with his interaction with us because he didn't know that question was coming he wasn't prepared for it we hadn't talked about him that was his and he was smirking the whole time like they could just be nobody no no okay it's somebody and it's somebody whatever the reason is so it's okay it's okay I'm not blaming Richard for anything like but it was a really poor decision on their part and Richard and less of some no I love Richard honestly I the reason I think he's one of the smile I bought 12 of them on him saying that because I think he's one of the smartest people and it was right I should have doubled up and got out but uh right right so what you buy them for you I bought them for about point two five oh he's okay you miss it I mean you lost the little and then listen to this move do you know what you know do you even know what uh sugar towers I yeah I heard about that so it's just pretty good okay yeah it was a very popular mid coming up I couldn't get myself on the white list okay mark mark a mark low was on the white list he got one he was very happy nice it went out it got up to point one eight so when I sold those six I bought two of them point one eight and then yesterday I just sold one at point three six so I got one for free yeah the floor is like point three nine on the point four or something on the and knocking me just just coming back it's like point two five let me see where it is let me see where it is exactly okay I mean of course we were going to rage sell you know that as cash to be oh yeah yeah okay they they changed it they said now it's free for holders oh they okay so they that's what turned it around a little bit oh people are going to get these ones are free they also have the new ones have some sort of uh also you don't want the free one you so you're just like fucking I'm out or what um um man I don't want to be out because Richard knows who the founder is and he's excited about if it wasn't for that I would like my my my brain is telling me to sell like right before the drop because that's probably what it's going to get to its eyes but then like what am I going to hit a rare is a drop how many do you have I have six now I had 12 okay I dumped hands six okay I don't wear is so good Blair is so awesome for trading because you can't be like take six you don't have to like write some all you know it's something just like except six bids you know it's awesome but yeah that's it's also Blair is where I do all my data like I love DJ's finance but Blair I might as well be in one spot because they have just as good maybe better data and I can do my trading in the same spot so there's no reason Pac-Man on the center yeah you know I did a call with him while like before they were in beta when it was barely launched I got I got really access yeah I got a really access to blur oh shoe that influencer per yes yeah now I remember a Zedica was tweeting about it so I just messaged a guy and he was like I'll show you around let me own a yeah that's awesome so or is her point three seven sugar down point three seven knock Amigos point two eight still inching up okay so then so okay so the holders there's 10k holders right or not you know I'll just it's the first collection was 10k right first collection was 20 it's 20 oh so everybody's gonna get it for free is there no problem if they all clean right they're not everybody gets different but they're not all gonna clean there's gonna be some left to be sold and then that'll be sold and they'll make that money okay that's interesting yeah I'm gonna tell you so much as you haven't ever done I'm gonna tell you some collections that you have you guessed the floor price okay let's go uh start with the board apes oh like 35 wow 24.5 no are you serious 100% serious oh how much is that in the U.S uh 20 25 times the eithes you know eithes down to a thousand no it's not no no it's the best way oh my god I need to be stock it up down right it's like 1600 change oh yeah so what yes it's like just under 40,000 for a board eight oh wow it's like a hud day interesting yeah would you like to be a lamp and from a lamp though I mean how about the how about the mute naps we think that's that mutants ooh those have to be like frickin four point something right yep yep four nine four high fours four point nine four okay that's how how about V friends ooh those have to be below one is that too low I don't know yeah those are probably down bad they're probably like point eight or something oh one point six oh well points okay okay okay but V friends two is really low V friends two is like I think zero point zero eight or right and uh oh de force I'll give you the last one 44 oh I feel like those are doing solid aren't the like I feel like it's like point half an eight point six five point six five nice yep yeah they got up to like one point like one point two five or something at that right they've been steady though because I remember they're doing a lot of they're doing a lot of different stuff yeah yeah star lord is always star lord is always doing different stuff who were they just uh they just collab with somebody interesting oh they're collab with Tom bill you Ernie for us and star lord and Tom bill you were doing a Twitter space together and just eight and they're collabing on something right now Tom bill you makes like nothing happened speaking to speak in the test speaking to Tom bill you from head back here you remember we talked about him that's by the SEC yeah speaking to speak to be ensued by the SEC the stoner cats I saw me likuina as a national culture me learned asked it or having trouble these days and you see their whole the whole um no actually I know there's some video circulating I haven't watched it I saw like a screen shot or something yeah yeah but what was that all about this is as it's an awful story oh did you know Danny Masterson the guy that starred with them in the 70s show oh um I think so is he was he the curly here guy yeah he was just convicted and sent to prison for two 15 year to life sentences for rate oh yeah yeah so it's this is like I'm not a this is a heavy subject and asked in kutcher and milacutus wrote character letters for him to the judge and they went the letters went public and they caught a lot of backlash for that so that that after letters wait so what they were like yo don't put him in jail they weren't like don't put him in jail but they were like he was a mentor we've only noted to be a great person oh okay she yeah that word I don't know about word for word it was something like that right yeah and now story cats yeah and I saw that they ended up like settling you're whatever and they just had a million dollars just like top billion you do they had to pay a million dollars but they raised a shit ton like they raised a million they raised a oh I don't know why I thought that it was way more than that yep they raised a they if you remember there was like a a bunch of people lost it was when like it was a wild west and a bunch of people lost gas on them oh yeah people were so pissed I do remember that yep and trope of farmer caused such a stink that ashton kutcher decided to give back it was 1.6 million dollars all the people's gas and they refunded everyone that lost gas but didn't get a stoner cat oh yeah what are st what's the stoner cats floor is fine I don't even know if you're able to train her right now we're into like point two to admit yeah everyone was pissed because that was like everyone was like no I don't support the celebrities like and that was before really a ton of celebrities started getting in yes I remember being on clubhouse and I remember talking to vgf about it he was very against it he was I mean I was definitely not anybody else I was there was money to be made early on because it did go up for a little bit and then it's just you know it didn't really didn't really go up that much though right yeah I think you're right probably about a time I think yeah only ended like the reveal it was probably one of those ones who went up a bit and then the reveal happened and it's just that's the end of it the show I watched the first one I think that was the only one I watched yeah yeah because that was what that's what it was it was like token gated access to their show that they were creating and you were like helping fund their show basically like a cartoon show yeah yeah yeah our our past guest Mack Flaville was on the team that did that he was pretty much the project manager for for that if you if anybody wants to hear go back and listen to the episode really good interesting episode he was one of our he was like not a controversial guest but he was like that he was a bit I I would say he was a bit of a shocking guest because I did not know what to expect with him right to say like like vulgar and just like out there and like doesn't give a f so that kind of threw me off to be honest that and I was like blokey intimidated like interviewing him I was like um but yeah he it was yeah he was cool like but he was yeah he was definitely out there he was my kind of guy we've remained we've remained buddies I actually sent him a text I said him a text when that happened I said SEC equals and it did a poop emoji and sent that to him he sent me a little gift back I'm trying to find whatever so I really think so he can really I know I was I was that was the episode I was in Costa Rica I don't I remember the air B&B oh episode 66 nice well that's kind of a crisp episode number 66 is a bad 666 is bad right we'll skip that episode I mean no that means we have to stop at 665 episodes really okay that's our limit at this pace that's gonna end up me I mean it's six more years so all right if you're committing to six years I'll take that for now I remember when you try to get me to commit to like 10 years no I don't know I'd take it one episode out of the side it's been two years so who knows how much longer we'll go oh my god maybe two years maybe six years I don't know that does be like a long time yeah you never know could be the other bowl yeah yeah true yeah there's another more edible where it will keep going yeah if it stays like this I don't know it stays like this will probably still keep coming right yeah I guess we'll just stop if people just stop listening if nobody listens anymore then we'll stop right okay nobody listens we still get on we still have our crew I know the people to listen every episode because they definitely comment yeah and we can see the downloads we see that they're all yeah and thanks people yes sometimes you never know sometimes it feels like we're just talking to ourselves we also have fun we wouldn't do it if we don't have fun then we wouldn't do it that is facts oh yeah that that's how I go through life if it's not fun for me I'm not enjoying it or it's not a challenge that I'm working towards something and you know long-term then it's like yeah I just don't do it and you know if there ever is a time that you don't want to do it and it's not for you you don't have to do it for me yeah I mean I took a break you know exactly a little like two months but I know I joke and I like 10 years we're gonna do it forever don't like feel like that I'm like yeah that's it no yeah I appreciate you saying that I think definitely you guys like help push me to like you know keep going I think I mean I really like it but it's like if you are doing a podcast alone is so much harder because it's just so much easier when you have other people that are like counting on you and it's like you're you know it's just like you feel like we're all doing this together and it's just you can go a lot further that way yeah I would never want to do it just by myself yeah so uh next up this is actually a pretty big deal have you heard of this mochi big brother that the AIP that he presented, the AIP, the AAP, the AAP improvement project or whatever the, for the AAP point, the AAP point down. So he has this proposal, he's asking for 11 million AAP point to create this thing called the damn down, the digital art movement and like, Machi's asking for money, I thought he was already rich from scamming all those people. So he's asking, allegedly, so he's asking, so he's asking for 11 million dollars, it's gone into this down. So it's like a whole thing behind it. You can read it down. I've put it through ChatGPT. I also put every article about him through ChatGPT. I got everything on this guy that it even, I asked it for like, it concludes you then what, what, what, it thinks about him and everything, what did ChatGPT say? Yeah, I got you. I got it right in front of me. So the digital, first of all, the digital art movement, it looks like it's going to pass. He's been doing interviews and I'll, like, he was on coffee with Captain, you know, much I respect those guys, Steve and Chris and they had him on, asked him all the tough questions and were satisfied with his answers, like, they make it see it, like, he's, you know, he's saying all the right answers that it's, he's not going to be part of the multi-seg, the dial's not allowed to buy his apes. So basically, there's $11,000,000, they're going to buy up apes, they're going to buy up other art and digital assets, a lot of Yuga stuff and other things like for denses and whatever, and display them in museums around the world. That's the, and there's a damn dial, so there's going to be a turn of view. Why, why does he want to do that? What is it for him? Right. Exactly. To spread the love of, like, yeah, he's not a lover. He's a freaking scammer, and I guess he wrote a whole thread about all the different ways he's made hundreds of millions of dollars, or I don't know if it's from just a million, but millions of dollars scamming people and I, yeah, I believe that he's a smooth talker for sure. I think they, a lot of like, scammers and people that are like manipulative, like, they are likeable, like, they're smooth talkers and like, well, they get people on their side and then, ah, like, they just, that's like beanie. That's what it is. Why is he doing this? If this was somebody that was like known as like somebody that just genuinely loves art, and there's always pushing art for this guy's known as a manipulator, he's known for what he did on blur, you know, like, yeah, I don't know what he's trying to do. I just feel like in a year from now, something goes wrong with it, like, and it's just going to be like, it was so obvious. It was mochi. Right. Everyone's like, um, oh, yeah, this is four people, is this going to pass? Do you think? Yeah. Looks like it's going to pass. Oh, sure. It's got the, it's got the blessing of people, like I said, Steve and Chris and like, people are getting mad. People, it was a, people that wouldn't just, you know, like, and, and, and, and, and, and they're rationales and it has all the safeguards around it. Like, he seems to have put all these safeguards, but there's got to be a reason. Like, he wants all these aims to get bought, because it's his stuff. Even if it's not his directly, that'll raise the floor price for him to do it. And, which is fine, but like, there's, I feel like there has to be some other, some other thing. Yeah. That doesn't. Right. That way to me. It is weird about it. And it's going to $11 million. Like, it's nothing. I don't know how much money is in that. $11 million. Well, it's $11 million Apecoin and Apecoin is like a buck. It's $11 million Apecoin. Yeah. Dang. So they're giving, okay. Okay. Okay. Well, that's interesting. So how do, so when is this, when does this pass and like, when does this take the facts? When will he be putting this R in the museum? Like, when does all this happen? Let's see. AIP 304. I did put that through GPT, but let me see if I could find it. Ape, if you're for proposal name, abstract security, edith to you, assets, and other collections, the goals to advance digital art, matchy, big brother is the, the author. He did put a team together, people like lumber.eath, Jake Lee, Jeremy Yang, black apple.eath. People I'm not really familiar with. Yeah. I don't really know, people. No. The motivation is to increase representation, appreciation, digital art, to aim for the digit. So this is a, just, this is what chat GPT told me when I put the adp in the chat GPT. Just so you know, this is a bold path to give me a benefit benefits to the Apecoin ecosystem and enhance Apecoin's influence and digital art realm without Apecoin staking for governance over a collection. There's going to be Dan tokens with a fair launch, no TV allocation like I guess, like you're not going to get any somehow. Yeah. There's no way they don't get any benefit, they do this for charity that is a bond here. Now you're making a whole weed like, oh, you know what, I bet he knows the people at the museum and he's like, yo, we'll give you this one and then you give it to me like, you know what I mean? I know. I know. It's something. We're here. No conflict of interest in NFT acquisitions, collaborate with art institutions. So timeline would be to commence immediately after the AIP, the milestones that could initial curation. First event. What events though? You're going to show a board Ape to the museum on a fucking screen for $11 million. Yeah. That's like what is that I don't know like do we need that I could maybe get behind that if it was like $11 million like yeah, they create some type of like. I'd off with like half a million. Yeah. Yeah. It's got to go. It's gotta go. That's cool. Let's see. I gotta go. The full 11 now. The 11 million Ape corn was the exact release mechanism to be decided later. It's cool. TBD folks. 30% for initial distribution 70% to the Treasury. Yeah, you're supposed to be ready for counsel so you can shoot this kind of thing down So here's this guy. Let's see let me get back to Jeremy Wang. I think that's his name Let's see. I gotta see he's like it. He's like a rapper. Watchy. Yeah Yeah, he's had my lives. All right, so oh sorry Jeffrey Wang a.k.a It's H.u.a. J. I think I'm pronouncing that right wing maybe Machi big brother Founding member of pop rap trio L.A. boys in 1991 now Active into the late 90s the L.A. boys released 13 albums gained immense popularity in Asia Founded the hip-hop group Machi in 2003 later for Machi entertainment a subsidy of Warner music Taiwan As a tech entrepreneur he founded 17 media which became one of Asia's most popular live streaming apps He founded myth role crypto venture late 2017 and foremosta financial Now these bullet points go through all kinds of controversies and tracking of eath movements through these You know, I can't go through it all now, but like in 2018 lots of eath moving around in weird places They try to connect it all to Machi Whatever it is like his it gets really convoluted and then at the very end it says conclusion Jeffrey Wang in his various projects and dealings displays a pattern of ambitious initiatives often marred by controversies Financial irregularities and abrupt discontinuations whether these actions are a result of intentional Deception mismanagement or simply bad luck remains a matter of speculation That right One thing is this is chat TVT. That's funny. One thing is clear The crypto landscape with its promise of decentralized and transparent financial systems Still possesses areas of obscurity and potential malfeasance as with traditional financial systems Vigilance regulation and transparency are paramount for maintaining trust and integrity Thank you jet somebody had to talk to me to like save it It's crazy But uh, I don't know. It's right. It's like you know like all this stuff like gets a little weird Yeah, I don't know I'd be out against it But I think it's gonna look silly. Yeah I have no voting power. I have no point. Yeah, whatever. I actually don't really care that much Yeah, I don't care all that I don't draw that much. It's just it's just like the way people throw around money like that So much to be you what you could do with 11 million like that can really make a difference What do you do if you had 11 million dollars right now put it in my bag account The obfuscate Now like what would I if I had one thing I could do with 11 million uh Like if I really had it if I had 11 million I had to spend it on something good. It would be I would go straight to the foster kids and I would start a power county Who's you know my wife and I were foster parents and we saw Yeah, a lot of babble goes on in the foster system. It's really rough. It's rough on everybody It's rough on everybody, but especially rough on the kids and they're the ones that didn't ask for it Like really some of the hardest situations you can imagine Huge sibling groups Things like that that can't be with their parents and all that stuff That's I would make sure all those kids have everything they need All Well, that's sweet thing. Yeah, that's great Well, it's it now. I can't say like go frickin travel I started a new uh burning man. I started heating up festival. Yeah, you know, I just you know I just got back from imagine Yeah, yeah, so I mean, how did you go to what was it called imagine festival that yeah, imagine festival um it was a four day festival three day camping It was a lot of fun. It was great. We camped. You know, we're not super boozy. We don't have RVs Actually, we ended up sleeping in our car instead of the tent Because people are crazy and they're partying like Lading to the night and you're trying to sleep and it's like 3 a.m And it was like yelling and freaking blasting their music and so the car is a little bit more soundproof so um Yeah, and stuff and I we just got back uh this morning. I'm actually in Tennessee right now With my sister's big gigantic. I used to love big gigantic. Yeah, they've been around for they've been around forever Really? Oh, yeah, they do like they mix up like uh Like hip-hop songs with like their own beats right? Okay, like like biggie and stuff. I think I actually don't think I I'm gonna play more. They have like words. Oh, you miss big jagged by the only one I This is the only one you know Yeah, I think so dog dog the sounds familiar maybe but I don't know Nightmare B2B diesel. Was that Shaq? Yeah, that yeah Shaq was so funny too because you know his voice He's like he's just like ah he would be like lighting Marsh pit ladies like I want ladies only mod be like and he just kept saying ladies like Yeah, the boy's he just cracked me up. That's funny. Yeah, he was so funny. And he's like put your arms up. Let me see those muscles He was just hilarious um if somebody called Bonnie Clyde that's funny Bonnie and Clyde yeah They were good there. Who's your favorite? Who's your favorite? I can't believe it's big gigantic. Oh my god Chris Lake That was amazing. I really like to sleep. Yeah, and then um res who was the headliner on Sunday I haven't seen her right? Yeah, I didn't see her anyone here. Oh, yeah, she freaking blew my mind. She was I was like whoa she really leveled up Oh, I know Dylan Francis Dylan Francis. Yeah, he he collabed with like a smaller artist and Yeah, they had a they're they had a good side Yeah, it was that was fun. And then there was like a pool party during the day like there's it did rain one of the days But you know besides that it was sunny and and really nice and uh it was just it was great Nice, it looks like a lot of fun. What did you do this off of the weekend? What did I do over the weekend? Yes Saturday some stuff with the kids with saturday we went to this mall There's a giant ball called sawgrass mills and they were having a farmers market there my kids and stuff I really sawgrass mill there. It's pretty wild. We went there and just like walked around there's play areas and Sunday watched a lot of football nice. Oh, yeah, there was like a bunch of football happening and my son and I went to he loves this place Called silver ball arcade. It's like this old arcade with like a million pinball machines And there's this old maddened machine from like 2005 and we just played maddened football like me and him It's like the old arcade is really fun. Oh, I love I love arcade bars like those. Yeah This place that this place has our uh, it's it's mostly pinball machines Yeah, they have pinball machines from his far back is like the early 50s And you can use them so you pay when you pay 15 bucks to get in And then you can just play as much as you want They have pinball machines all the way through like like Real old ones wow Like rare ones and they they keep score so everyone has High scores that if you get high score you they'll change it for you Oh, that's awesome. Yeah, give me a little leaderboard. Yeah, exactly I suck at them ball. I don't like him well But I like all the other Little fun games today. We went fishing actually. I was on a fishing pier for like three hours Oh, yeah, you're always fishing. I know that we're time I never fished about when we fish all year round here. Oh, yeah, Florida. Yeah You're better than the winner. It's better than the winner. Really? Yeah, oh yeah way better Cool that that was like a fun festival. I got to get to a festival again at some point Yeah, you want to come to the next semester? It's been a break. I used to go all the time. Maybe Maybe what do you have any plan? Well, so I think my next festival is probably gonna be It's not really much like a festival. It's just more like a rave, but decadence A-Z I always go every year. Not every year. I try to go every year. Is that like new year's eve or something? Yeah, yeah, so I remember two day near as eve Celebration and oh so fun. It's an Arizona. That's cool. We used to buy tickets to that They have it in Colorado too. We used to buy tickets. Oh, yeah, they have in Colorado Yeah, a couple. I think like three different locations. They have it. Yeah We used to buy a lot of EDM we we got like some of the we got it real early We had this one kid that was on our staff that like new wall. That's why I like that. I'd been like I just went to Christmas site I bet like just you mentioned that like he's probably like I don't know I've never heard the name before but like he's probably gonna like some shows coming up and like oh yeah Once these people blow it up in the in the festival scene That's when they like start selling out there like fatter shows and all that stuff You got to get you know you should go to you should go to electric forest That is a chip that's yeah, that's in like Orlando or something. Not in Michigan. Is it okay? Rospery. What's the yeah Orlando is I mean, there's EDC in Orlando. Oh Electric daisy carnival or whatever. That's what I was thinking. Is that it? Yeah Yeah, you see that that's massive or in Miami. There's ultra Miami. That's right. That's not really camping and stay there That's right. Yeah, that's yeah, I've been down there, but I haven't gone to the Yeah, camping is camping is way more fun like it's like Something about it. Yeah, yeah, I'd like to get some of my friends to go, you know, we other like we used to go to like the jam band Once that was our that was our scene the jam band. I actually saw a lot of like not a lot, but it's like I saw a handful of people that were like older than you like just No, no, like no, like I saw like I straight up saw this guy that was 70 Like he definitely looked like he was 70 new. He was there at the festival like Some grandparents, you know, and they're just like living their life enjoying and I'm like, wow, that's awesome That's cool. Yeah, that's awesome. Yeah, it's cool. My wife's and uncles. They go to a lot of they get a ton of concerts like that Yeah, yeah, that's how they're neighbors. They're festivals goers. Yeah, they're really ravers But like jam like jam bands like that other scene. Yeah, the race guy And that's that the rain was like they're never used to be like huge rave festivals like EDM festivals Yeah, he's used to be like underground and yeah, yeah, I mean, I missed that way. Well, I was young. Yeah, that was like I mean, it was definitely like yeah Like cultists just coming up Like not everybody was into ED and when I was in college it wasn't like that. Yeah, it was like you It was like a European thing He's like what whether students would go abroad and come back. They'd be all into it like it was cool over there Tomorrowland that tomorrowland is the biggest festival in it. I think Belgium And it's like that's the dream The largest festival in the world like oh Yeah, that's my dream festival. They go to tomorrow and Let's go to tomorrowland. Let's do it because we go to Belgium Well, it's just it's like it's just a true. It's like an hour train ride from Amsterdam flying to Amsterdam Haggard Amsterdam. Oh, it's right. My answer. Yeah, it's really a trade. You take the trade right through The end bells of bells was really small You get the train. It's probably near bruise or Brussels. Yeah, I'd be so sick. I'll just tell everybody it's an NFT conference Yeah, everybody go And yeah, I was like don't have to tell my family. I'll tell my wife with the NFT conference and oh yeah Oh, it just happened in July of this year. That was that was when they did That would be insane. That would be insane. Of course we have to record from there. You know, I'll say that Hey guys That would be chaotic All right, we have gone off the rail which is fine, which is fine But this is a back to NFT folks back to NFT whenever my see I just want to just found interesting I honestly don't have a million piece of information on it, but you know on chain monkeys. You remember that project They are migrating their entire 10,000 collection to Bitcoin and it's gonna cost them about a million dollars in fees to do so what the why would they do that? I Don't have that rationale. Well, I know they've They were they they actually come on coffee with captain Steve was on that team when they first. Oh, yeah That's right. I do remember that. Yeah, so he talks about them Fairly often. I don't know. I don't know much more of that, but 90% of the voters did agree with the move And vote for it. They agreed. Then there was some good reasons for 99% of the people too. Yeah, exactly What about friend tech? You're the friend tech you hear about the tech don't you remember when we brought it up a month ago? And we're like, yeah, we'll see if we're still talking about it in a few weeks or not And here we are talking about friend tech. It's not for me. I'm not a huge fan of like social tokens where it's like Oh, pay me to talk to me and something that's just I don't know Into that say that again. I love it It's literally It paid me to talk to me. No, no, because that's what Alex was saying and if she got he was like Yeah, like if you buy their token, then you have a better chance of DMing them. It's like oh, so I have to buy your token to get it Chance like that. She's like, I don't know. That's not and then I don't know I've been seeing on Twitter people being like talking like it kind of sad when people sell my token, you know And then it's like your value your worth is tied to the price of whatever your token is trading for it's like that's just I don't know I I think wasn't there a social token craze right before the bull run already and it and it like burned and died There was a big cloud exactly big clouds. This feels like a big cloud 2.0 Yeah, it feels a lot like that. It's much better But I heard the tech is really bad on it too like there's like they're not Like there's a lot of things wrong with it and people are just trying so hard to like make it like work Yeah, some people are making money like people are making money on it and it's yeah people are making money Right is it gonna is gonna So there's gonna be bag holders probably it's not like I don't know or maybe it's that maybe it's it's the new Google Facebook Twitter maybe it really is, but I don't think so. Yeah, I might get on it I've had people tell me to get on and and tell me to let them know right away when I get on so they can get The gem like but that is weird It's definitely some weird stuff and you are kind of Like if you tell anybody that you're gonna give value to whatever like you're kind of like the stoner cats or top bill you Not that that's is gonna. Yeah find you, but they could you know like right? You're like oh I think people are a little too lenient with it where they're just like oh, why it's fine and what it's just casual and it's like Well I'm not worried about it because I know that I'm not going to be one of the ones that like Humps up to 15 e if there's something I guess you don't make a lot of money Right probably yet and I'm honestly I probably will you know make money get on like Because then I know there's like pressure if people buy yours for you to buy theirs and I'm not into that Right really have I have zero desire to own any keys like so if I get on there Right like can people just buy my stuff and yeah, I don't know why what do I need years? Right if you buy if you buy mine we can chat. Yeah, I don't need to buy Yeah, well like every Twitter space thread guy out of thread guy at a 600 person Twitter space today And like right before we came on called mega friend tech space or whatever What was do you listen to it? For like 20 minutes and they were talking about like like the ins and outs are like the friend tech ecosystem. Okay Like getting familiar and it was like leap like I thought I didn't listen to it because it's interesting Like it's just just like I don't know Yeah, I just listen to it because like I wanted to hear I guess I just want to be up on what's going on, but it's just like Yeah, it's like I think that everybody does not to participate in everything I and I think some national people still like they do like oh, but I have to because you know Where did this do come the thing? It's like you don't have to do everything that everybody else does just because Even if it does become popular that doesn't mean you have to do it like if you don't want to read Yeah, that's really fail. Yeah threads I wait threads was the That was the Oh Definitely failed and or like coinbase NFTs and I was like you have to claim your username And then and now I'm like no because I don't want to be on there and then if you can crash the moon and it's like yeah You know like totally but everyone feels like they have to do something just because oh, there's a potential that you're early Which I get I mean, you know tech people really shine be early to stuff. So it makes sense Yeah, but yeah, it's only been like a month. It didn't come out in August Forensic yeah, probably that's a people that's what started popping off. That's what started popping. Yeah, I know this so yeah Really hasn't been long. I'd be like these loves it like a bunch of our People in making money in love they love everything you're making And people make money they love right and then all of them they stop making money. They don't like Yeah Well, that was the top which for the week we kind of we had a there we go one time good over a bunch of stuff Go to a life talking about the imagined festival Making plans to go to tomorrow Let me run down. Let me run down the crypto Crypto slip in top 10 number one demarcate mythos Okay, rushing it on the mythos. I keep forgetting I mentioned it to run the podcast every week on this And then I keep forgetting to really ghost try and get into it because we've never heard anybody else talk about a besatz That's the reason Isn't that weird? Yeah, it is really weird. Drift Drift Kings is number two our previous episode sponsor Let's go gods unchanged is number three So the first Ethereum is number four by the way, I forgot to mention this with friend tech There is more volume on friend tech than there is on Ethereum NFTs weekly volume. Yes, it's a waste friend What token is friend tech it's so in token? I guess it's like are these or whatever is it eat you buy it? Yeah, you buy stuff fly and eat. Oh, okay Those are probably eat tokens. I guess I don't need to know right Okay, interesting support apes is number four. So rare is number five crypto punks number six downs is number seven and the reason downs is number seven now because they did some kind of fork Where you can get your money back from the down on like what you spend for your down or whatever what that But there's some kind of it's something and I want to look I want to Get more information. I did want to talk about that today was all my list, but I did have time to really look into it Yeah, but they they are doing something interesting with their contract You know the downs. They still release one a day forever and people are still forever. That's crazy People still pay like 33 35 each day for them. What's the supply out of that display? Uh 856. Oh, that's it Yeah, well, it's oh Yeah, wow that is cool. That's a cool mission. I like that. It is it is Definitely cool number eight is some BRC 20s Bitcoin number nine is my sugar tailed or is I am a diamond hand that That's holder of one oh nice, but I got for free now Oh, yeah, or in our lemon friends. We never talked about those. Yeah, yeah again So they did reveal who the so they announced on Twitter. We have to give a clip update about this They announced on Twitter. Oh We're about to reveal who the founders are in our discord I didn't even I wasn't in their discord. So I honestly didn't even check and then I didn't see anything about it on Twitter So I honestly don't even know But it didn't really affect the price like at all it did not really even move the price and someone in the discord was asking like what we're gonna do with ours Personally, I only have one. I'm keeping it. I mean the less they're like homes are crazy like I I don't know. I'm just keeping it so Yeah, you had the same I have to I'm just gonna keep mine. Yeah Yeah, nothing nothing crazy so far, but interestingly enough their number 10 on the list. Oh No like I was my like I really predicted that number 10 is your favorite project belady maker Malady's you know, I think that's a very that's a very diverse top 10 list like different watching different I know. Projects. Yeah, yeah. Mac Amigos is number 12. You remember, there was a time when you good assets would be like more out of the first six. Yeah, it'd be like four days, news. Right, dog, like mega zero. Other side, all that stuff. Only other side. Yeah. Not anymore, good stuff. Whatever, so what episode number are we all? Because it's not listed anymore, so it's like, I mean, what's 70? Only throw a number in this one so we can know. Oh, 16,000. Oh, 16,000. You have to put, this one has to say, 16,000, it has to. And the one 16,000, that is, that's, that's a good number. That's solid for the culture, for the culture, for the culture. So yeah, wow, shout out, one 16,000, Andy does the sounds like, okay, I'll do it. Yeah. So yeah, sorry about the lack of interviews lately, but, you know, fortunately, we have a couple of cancellations, folks. Yeah, our list, too, our list, I know.
