Welcome back to another episode of NFT catcher podcast. We'd like to remind
everybody that nothing on the show is meant as financial advice and to please do
your own research. Thank you and enjoy the show.
Now the subject is NFT. They're known as non-fungible tokens or NFTs.
What's up everyone and welcome back to another episode of the
NFT catcher podcast with me Jenny from the blockchain and my co-host Michael
Keene. Michael what is up this week we do have some really fun things to talk
about. Yes again exciting in the space.
Development how you doing having a good week? Yeah having a great weekend. Yeah
actually weekends I haven't been home for a weekend in a bit like it's nice to
kind of finally be back from like traveling a lot of stuff. Yeah you're moving
all over the place. So I'm chilling and I'm doing good I do a bit of
source row so if I sound different that's why but yeah I'm excited to get
into it and and also next Sunday oh we have to say this before we forget because
I do not want to forget this but next Sunday is Michael's birthday. What which
we're not going to be recording since it is birthday but yeah so happy birthday
to you Michael. Thank you. Exciting times. Yeah. 33 so. 33 I know the big
old three three it's tough. And you're really getting what I was born in 1990 no
I was a baby in 1990 I remember 1990 very well. So yes you're turning do you
want to tell us a drum roll please. Yeah I'm turning 44 was born 1979. Nice. Yeah I
feel it for 44 I still feel young happy. That's good. What's keeping young?
Well pieces of words of wisdom. You have me wisdom for being on the
starts for 42 years. I mean life does move fast and you know what if whatever
Ferris Bueller said you don't look around some other roses you wake up older
whatever like it's true you know 44 now going to be 50 before I know it you know
my mom's in her 70s now like it moves pretty quick. Yeah. That's my advice do
what you want to do if you want to travel if you want to fish if you want to
whatever you want to do make sure you're doing it. I love that that's great advice
I'm just reading a book about that too. Yeah. Yeah. Do you want to do and think
about what you want and not what you don't want because they're constantly
thinking about negative stuff and like what you don't want to happen you're
just gonna bring that to you and it's like right people sometimes they get stuck
in this negativity loop of constantly thinking about all these bad things and
it just is only just makes your life worse so try to think good thoughts try to
think about you know what you want and and it'll make it easier for it to come to
you so. Manifest yourself some happiness a lot of it does start in your head for
sure it really does. Yeah. Yeah. So what's that said I guess we'll jump into our
NFT stuff. Let's do it. I think we should talk about the thread guy thread guy
after that's kind of the biggest juicy as thing we got. Yeah. Yeah. So so where
are you out with the story. So what started happening I think you might know a
little bit more about you start again all these offers for his moon. Yeah. Andy
was saying right before you popped in actually that apparently Luca offered him
100k for his PFT. Yeah. A pearly board. Luca offered him a guaranteed
100,000 in royalties over the next year. Oh, in royalties from what? Yeah. From
Pudgy Pudgy paying was it okay so that was more of a rock. Okay. You're getting a rock
come here. Okay. Rock a Pudgy paying when a specific one with like a fishing rod. Oh
I see. And then I guess Luca would make that one famous and start to sell it
guaranteeing what is there. Okay. And then a board you are in a pearly
board. I think it's like a super rare season one of Peppin. There's like a 20
year for Peppin. And I don't know what sparks people offering thread guy. I don't
know if it was due to him running for the ape coin elections and not getting
it and then people kind of feeling like you guys not like valuing him or
something because I did see something a little bit something about that. I didn't
know if it had to do with that or not. And then I told you I'd listen to his
Twitter space before a show. He kind of squashed that he's like this is
nothing with with with the you guy or the ape coin like it's all love like I
learned a lot of like that you know you might just be being a politician but that's
what he said he wasn't well. Okay. Fuck them. So he did he's like that's all
bull crap. He said and it was all ill it was on his space from you. Yeah. So yeah
it didn't seem like there's ill will there but that may have been the catalyst for
some people starting well for other maybe not for him. Maybe other people they
want to change his car fee. That's basically the whole just which by the way
Marked you know Mark in your discord. He was saying that he said that he
his his P.F.E. change sparked it. He was saying that he changes. I think I know I
think too. He has something about it too. That yeah to the thread guy Opeppin and he
said he was talking to Jack in his DMs and then Jack followed and it caught like
wildfire I guess. That's what he's saying. So shout out to Mark out fairly he
sparked this thing but essentially what happened was everyone started changing
their P.F.E. to this. I don't know how the Opeppin maybe you can also in the
blanks here with how that Opeppin or Opeppin came about and how he got that
specific one and how everyone started changing their P.F.E.s but all I kind of
know is Jack butcher who you know is famously known for the checks the
additions and you know that that that were going for a lot decided to make
and basically in open edition he says Opeppin threaded threaded shun like I
can't even say for Providence purposes only and to redirect some economic
energy to a massive contributor to this ecosystem. So basically all proceeds
were going to thread guy and he he put out an open edition of this P.F.E. for
two dollars you can mint one for two dollars that is so cheap. So he's
basically making minting fun again everybody there's been over 15,000 minted
for two dollars a pop that's 15 E and that's that's like or I don't know I
think ETH is 1900 right now so how many do you say minted it says 16,000 right
is that we're looking at okay 16,000 has been minted yeah okay so 16,000 on the
website now 16,000 yep at the point 00Y equals 16 ETH times 1900 which is
the price of ETH that's 30,000 dollars so I'm always trying to get into changes
P.F.E. and Jack over here just creates this open edition and gives all the
proceeds to thread guy so that thread guy doesn't even have to sell his
menu or whatever but he still changes P.F.E. to this Opeppin and it's taking
Twitter by the freaking storm everybody's changing their P.F.E. to this and
it's just all over the time and it's all that you're seeing and do you know
it's open forever it's an open is it really oh my god so did it just go I mean
I'm sure the smart contract hasn't so that it just goes to his wallet right
like the money yeah Jack's not the middle man in this yeah right yeah right now
that's a chest with red guys yeah that's the three guys said he asked me for my
wallet and I gave it to him the next thing I know they got this coming on
yeah it's pretty wild that's amazing I know I know and they're like it was like
a listen to the thread guy space who's like a love fast like this is so
organic this community that's being created like everyone's like bugging out
okay I'm looking into it I think Mark actually made the art I think that's
really is what yeah cuz this guy just look at this post well this guy
salute shared this picture and then he's like he tied at marker for the
muting slash Opep and hybrid of nightmares ha ha so I don't know if you made
the hybrid version in the middle or the actual end result I don't know but
anyway regardless is there anything else you know about this Opep in
craziness that we need to report on no not really what speaking of
Marka you remember he's also he's big into that checks community he's the one
that did like the check-in with the different games yes yeah that's right his his
newest game is Tetris and I happen to be like very very good at Tetris this
happens to be the one game that I know how to play and I'm very good at it and
his game I'm number one on the leaderboard by like a good amount what he's gonna
yeah he's got a contest coming up where he's given away and Opep and and I'm
pretty sure I'm gonna be able to win they're gonna reset the leaderboard I need
to get a score again but I'm like really good we've started playing Tetris in
10th grade we're in this biology class and for whatever reason we have like
hours and hours on these computers they just sit and play Tetris in high
schools a great high school northeast high school filled out they really they
really kept us working but for whatever reason we were I was able to just get
really good at and I always played Tetris over the years when I'm bored on my
computer and now that is yeah it's coming in handy yeah I'm pretty good okay
wow I happen to be learning to get a Tetris yeah yeah so I'm excited for Mars when
he when he puts the sting out there like right now I'm leading I don't know
what surprise well right now there's no prize but the contest is gonna be a
no-peppin oh right okay so the Opepe this was actually my first time hearing
about the Opepins I think I haven't heard about it before but it's my first time
kind of I don't know really sure yeah what do you yeah what do you know about the
Opepins I'm looking on what the Opepins were like so Jack but your blew up
what he did the checks if you remember but his original collection was the Opepin
and the Opepin edition that one yeah yeah oh yeah 67,000 eats in volume and the
floor is 0.755 right and I've been in and out of that one a couple times like
because it got re as the check start again popular that one was worth less than
the checks for a while and then because he because he started talking about
and Opep and FP or whatever you know a PFO for it so like there's this I have a
hard time I don't know I'm not like super doubt into what Jack is doing but
everybody talks about him is so highly and all the stuff he's working on and
what's going on he's had the ability for people to DM him well I know well
Mark actually is is asking for us to get him on oh oh let's go
stop still yep nice so Mark is helping hopefully I would love to get Jack on
every really cool so you can explain his ecosystem yeah I'm gonna win that
Twitter contest the Tetris contest nice yeah okay I was just going to see oh
yeah and the other thing was um this just in as of 30 seconds ago people had
tweeted out so thread guys also saying hey people I have an idea for you and I
guess they're able to connect because people just tweeted out for the
culture and his art of the day is done guys but the bunch of people like
looking at it so you know that this thing is really blowing up and school
to see I mean you know it's always it's always nice when people haven't
fun again and it's not just everyone complaining but people are just excited
and and over something that's not even lucrative that's that's what's so
amazing like this is this is truly about about community and you can't really
so let purel pep in when it's an open edition forever and it was like $2 so it's
truly just yeah it's just the for people to show their support for thread
guy you know for for all that he's done in the community which I think has been
a lot of edutainment you know a combination of educating and entertaining he
knows how to get attention that's for sure you guys yeah it's great to see
people kind of like genuine good dude we've met him in real life he's always
been really nice and like talk you know like he's not like stuck up or anything
he seems like a real nice guy oh he's yeah he's such a nice guy always
energetic always positive yeah we did have him on the pod if you and I didn't
want to go back and listen probably a year ago something he was like really
popular like and he was kind of shy on the pod too like it was it was different
it was before he ever did spaces or anything so yeah I was quite to throw back
but yeah like I said it's great to see everyone rallying behind them and and
supporting and I forget who but someone was like we knew thread guy wasn't
gonna do something like this for himself so I love that jack like you know kind
of created this fundraiser for him like that's super cool I haven't seen
anyone pretty cool actually I've seen some people do that but it is you know
a size of Steve it being done for someone big in the community yeah it's really
neat really neat but yeah I think that's all we have on that topic or that
that picture is not it's all I have that's all I have on that's often let's
so so Abe Fest was finally announced yeah and it's not where we expected I don't
think anyone thought of you well do you remember we talked about it a couple
weeks ago and I said there's a rumor that it's coming to Asia well didn't we
have when we had Laura on didn't she say it was gonna be in the U.S. I guess
where she said she yeah like I swear she said the U.S. I may I don't know I don't
know either I need to read listen to that part but yeah but go ahead we're gonna say
and no and the one we talked about one of my guesses when I said when the rumor
was this in Asia Hong Kong made a lot of sense so it's in it's in Hong Kong
which would be an incredible trip I'm not gonna make it I'm not doing it oh
you're not what when is it what are the date it's like early November okay oh
yeah early November yeah just with family and school and stuff and you know right
right yeah it's a lot yeah it's a whole it's a whole it's all a thing to go
there it's over 24 hours like each way pretty much but I'm glad they're doing
something big that isn't in the U.S. though because you know everything's
always so U.S. sent you like with events and projects and it's nice it's
nice that they're showing love to other places and I'm sure everyone in Asia is
super excited yeah it's gonna and I'm sure it's gonna be a blast of a party
yeah Hong Kong's beautiful futuristic it's really really nice oh yeah you've
been there before no oh I know about it I'm very well I wish I was but I
watched I've never been to anywhere in China mainland or how really or Taiwan
or anything I need to hit them one of my major bucket list places in the
whole world is loss of Tibet in Tibet the bed where's Tibet to bets like
north west China it's you know like the Tibetan monks and Tibet yeah the
bets like it's kind of an autonomous zone but the Chinese military takes them
over and wants them to be part of China it's like it's a whole weird thing but
loss is the city where the Dalai Lama has been for like a thousand years now the
Dalai Lama out the move to India because of the fighting this happened in like
the 80s and but loss of Tibet is way up in the Himalayas one of the most
beautiful unique like shut off cities yeah check it out loss it there's a
movie by bad pit called like seven years into that okay yeah you got to
get a feel for it interesting yeah so where we go with that that was how we're talking about
Hong Kong yeah but I was I'll take that anytime I can to talk about travel so
and but also the announced that I think this is the sweet and the deal to make
the Americans not mad on August 26 is fucking Saturday in Miami hey so we have a
two-year-eight party we'll all get together I know there's a lot of people
flying in already six interesting yeah yeah yeah they haven't announced many
details how to get tickets or whatever they did say it's gonna be through
token proof it's a two-year anniversary of the mutant drop when they say fuck it
that's why it's called fuck it Saturday so it's a mutant party I'm sure the
apes will get first dibs right right only guessing but it's it's a two-year
anniversary of the mutant us too they announced it like right at the same time as
ape fest yeah it's really exciting and you speaking of me and you still have
your muting so that's why I'm meeting yeah I'm gonna say you can get in yeah so
they close down the old magic city apes chat one of the eight yeah the ape is
you that that's why they close it yeah they're just like it's just like now the
Michael's gone like that's opened up a new one and then they brought me in
cuz I you know I am the person who originally founded the first one
wanted out I'm not gonna name names wait who it okay yeah it's not my place
I'll tell you I'll happily tell you afterward because you know the person but it's
not my place I'll listen there's say I love there very fair yeah I'll tell you
that you know I started it new one it out but they started a new one up and the
person that was like I'm gonna make sure it's all apes in there cuz there might
have been some people like in the old one that sold their apes and just on
right there and I was like I still got a I still got a mutant ape that counts
right here we go nice I'm in there we go yeah I know and I was all worried about
that but my pf p my pf p is not an ape and everyone the messages in there
their pf p's are apes but I like my pf p yeah you're you're eagle yeah
that's cool why you fly so a fast Hong Kong fuck it Saturday Miami next up we
have beanie is back why is that a topic she's been back for the past
two weeks yeah it's fun though we should talk about the topic is just beanie is
back should we talk about woman on behind the scenes or have we not talked about
that yet that we haven't talked about that on the air oh you guys we have some
my juicy juicy juice that I guess we can talk about that yeah might as well
might as well yeah okay why don't you start it off well basically so when
beanie came back he's just started like you know tweeting his normal kind of
stuff and I just randomly messaged Jenny and I talked away in the pants I was
like let's get beanie on she's like nice a piece of crap we're not trying to
get everyone and so but I just I was like hey nice to see you back come on the
pod with Jenny and I and he was like Jenny send me a link and I sent him a
link and right away to my profile yeah to your profile and right away he
sends back no not to your only fans or something no no to my Twitter account
to my Twitter account the link yeah so he sends back just like tweet from like a
year and a half ago of you quote tweeting like the NFT ethics and saying this
guy's a scammer with some some yeah or basically I was like yeah what is
this carls yeah why don't you read it right you can't read the exact I told about
actually Charles Michael's gonna pull it up but basically I like I never really
wanted beanie on but I know that Michael was always kind of down so you know I
was kind of like I mean if you really want him on maybe but I'd really rather
not have him on because I'd rather not highlight you know a known scammer like
that's just but you know Michael seems to use like a trading god and it would be
great to pick his brain and stuff so it's like yeah but we don't know if we're
gonna bring him on basically that that's kind of where we're at yeah so where
where we left it with him he was like why'd she say such mean things about me oh
yeah one of the tweets that I said unless he is let's see you tweeted beanie's
real name is Charles he's in scaring people for years and there's a pathological
liar can't say I'm surprised and then and he was like that will be a fun
chat you know and he was like why'd she say such awful things and I was like I
don't know you kind of a reputation that gave us sure but I've always give
I've always reserved judgment on beanie I know he is this soft spot in your
heart I get it I get it yeah he admitted like his biggest mistake he made was
with that building token in the NFT space at least and like the dance of
that sent him a bunch and he he wished he just burned it and didn't do
anything I know that g funk very much doesn't like him and the pixel vault team
so I assume vgf is a good friend of mine also doesn't and I know that that
g funk just must feel like beanie walked away with all this money g funk
spent the last year and a half like it's been a rough year for him mentally
physically talk about it he's got all the flood the price has gone down the
values been lost like yeah he just looks at beanie like he walked away beanie
looks at it like he didn't want to leave he got you know he didn't want to leave
he got bought out like forced buy out but it feels like in his words he
quote unquote got turned under the bus that's your miswords so I guess we're
like looking at a chart figure you know beanie had web two ventures that didn't
do great yet web three stuff that started out amazing and then the NFT ethics
thing came out like you just I mean to be fair that's like that was just the
straw that broke the camel's back but there were so many like bumps along
the way like there was a lot of people that didn't like him I was in 50 like him
yeah I think 50 50 you know yeah very kind of people didn't people did not
like a man he didn't like him famously yeah he tweeted fuck you beanie
if you have a red circle in your profile like you're the douchebag or something
and Andy's just that was so good and people with the circle that was from
beanie yeah people that had the circle that meant that they were a baby like
yeah oh my god that's funny I wonder if Andy's gonna leave that in or cut that
out now you're in I hope he leaves it in because he no one beanie at this point
the way he saved that tweet he's gonna listen to the fact that he pulled up my tweet
so fast to be like oh she tweeted this about me like like in real time we were
you were messaging him and I was there and he tweeted back he replied back so
fast to you with my two I know the fact that he had that in his memory like that
he's got it yeah he must have a role dex of people to talk shit on him because
he said to me he's like I know you're a good guy hopefully he still thinks it
after he or in this I'm trying to be fair nice you know I just for telling
that like it is so we left it at he was like messaging me next week and we'll
see and that was like a week and that was like two weeks ago so we haven't even
circled back but oh yeah he said he's gonna start his own podcast where he is
going to have founders of projects on and that he has no stake in anything you
just ask him all the tough questions like it'll honestly be very interesting the
dude smart really smart he knows what works like he's I don't know
well maybe you should circle back in it in vitamin I'll tell you I have my
notifications on because there's going to be an alpha call at some point that
I don't want to miss oh my god like those like you's number one saying now
definitely not his number one fan like I all right number six I like myself I'd
like myself a little beanie you know I like to I guess I kind of like the
controversy a little guy I don't know he's like I just think it's real like he
tells he tries to I think he tells a truth I will admit like he definitely you
know there's some things I do like about him and there's something that I don't
like nobody's ever pure evil or pure good like you know humans were on the
spectrum of good and bad it's just you know oh and he's trying to correct us
about the reason why he tweeted out fuck you beanie okay he said that the
brother broke the camel is back for him that like triggered him to tweet that
was that I guess he had tweeted he said it was some dopey comment about if
you need sleep you're never gonna make it it was about sleep hey you know why
we don't need our sleep yeah we did he do you see you barely you be he
he no I didn't get much sleep that's what that week you know yeah exactly he's
just like nah man I love that but if we bring beyond we'll bring that up yeah
he was always he was always get your racial he was definitely was
controversial. He was the first like major NFT Twitter space host. That was when Twitter
space is first started. I gave him his first one that was having like the big giant rooms.
And you know, VGF was right next to him all the time. VGF was his right hand man. Damn.
But I don't think VGF, I don't think any of the pixel wall people are happy with being
or they have to be quiet about it. We know. Right. Right. Yeah. They have to take GFunks either.
That's a given. Yeah. That's a boss. Okay. Moving on. Moving on. Moving on.
What's up? Got her cat gang. Socials got hacked and it was really bad. This was like six days
ago. Yep. Saw that. Yep. So they had that mellow shoe and then they just got hacked and people
were like, and mellow shoes, airdrops, whatever. And almost a million dollars and stuff got lost
including franilations. And I guess there was a lot of people being not nice and like,
are you getting scammed in this day and age or an idiot? Like, right. You know, people
are they just don't put themselves in that person's shoe. If you're that is like a super low.
I mean, and also franilations. Fun facts. My sister used to watch his YouTube videos years ago.
He was like a really big sneaker head in the sneaker YouTube game or whatever. And yeah,
he like had a bunch of sneakers and she was like, oh, my gosh, ventilation is in the
NFT space. Like when he first discovered him, she freaked out. But yeah, it's sad to see that
he got, you know, his wallet drain because, I mean, he was such a a big pillar of the community.
Like, he has so many yoga assets and and all types of NFTs really. See how those sort of
was. Yes. Nasty. I think like 16 people got scammed. Do you sense? I know. It's unbelievable.
And gutter cats like, yeah, we're going to work with authorities. But like, it doesn't seem
anything happens in these cases. It's like, yeah, great broad scam, unregulated, like nothing you
can do. Yeah, people, you don't know if it's somebody in Turkmenistan that's doing it, you know,
like it could be. Turkmenistan. Turkmenistan. It's a very interesting. Turkmenistan is a very
interesting country if you look it up. Oh, it's a fun style. They have this like weird dictator
who built this like giant capital city of like beautiful white marble, but it's all totally empty.
And it's like all these like monuments and like weird buildings. Yeah, it's a weird shoe. And
they also have, I think that's the country that has it's called like the entry to hell or something,
like the hell's gate. And it's like, it's like this huge pit of fire that's like always burning
because it's, yeah, stand there. Oh my god. Turkmenistan, check it out. It's fun. Interesting.
You don't really want to go there, but it's like interesting to check out. Okay. Yeah, I'll take
your word for it. I will not be traveling to that destination. No, none of us will.
The only reason you go there is if you're trying to go to like every country in the world,
you have to, right, you got to check everything off your bucket list. Yeah, true. All right,
so what else we got? What else we got? We should, I wanted to put consolidations in the NFT space
because like when we talked to Luca, he talked about how like tons of founders have come to him.
We've talked about consolidation before. I've heard people like founders wish they, like a lot
of them got offers in 2021, early 2022. Wish they took those offers now because now they're worth
nothing. A lot of these companies and they still have their communities. The founders are
burned out. They're out of money. Something's going to have to give with a like, I think it can
solidations really in order. I don't know who or what? Like what people, like what do you mean by
consolidation? Like, I think consumers like selling there. No, I think like a collection like,
say, Pudgy Pagwins might need to buy up five or six collections from the founders.
Incorporate those people somehow into the ecosystem. You know, like if I don't
know, it's just, it's all just that having entirely like gone to zero, right? That's still have
a community. The community is really what you're buying there at that point. Yeah. And like the
IP if it's anything, but or maybe they're not worth anything anymore. Maybe he's projects like
some of them are, but like it's really not happening fast. He brings the buy out projects all the time.
Do you remember when like, I'm trying to think of solid examples here. They're this one
bill project or Ellison project. I was going to say elephant. Yeah, I'm pretty crazy. And then
yeah, this freaking bought it out and he just paid a bunch of money to hand over the project.
Like what? Yeah. And that was happened enough. That didn't happen enough. Like it. I don't know.
I think like the founders, so everybody was like the founder of a project was basically you were
good enough to put some art together and get them in together. You know what I mean? Like you
weren't like really founded finding a business. You would like put some ideas. We're going to do
college books. Well, it was a very, you know, lucrative first business idea for a lot of people
like that or ambitious and are like, you know what? I'm really going to go for it. There wasn't
much of a chance of failure. So yeah, there was a lot of people just, you know, going for it and
striving. But also, you know, it also takes money to make money. I mean, a lot of people did have to
like upfront pay for things. You know, you got to get a dev. You got to get someone to do the art.
We had GD on our last interview. And she was saying what that they spent like 30,000 for
a year. Yep. Just for the art. So, you know, I mean, it's not like it was just like, I mean,
I'm sure there were some people with like, okay, just paying a five or artist like a hundred bucks
or something. Yeah. And then the most of the time, the most of the time the way it was working is
people were getting percentages of the mint. So like your smart contract guy would get five percent.
The artist would get 10 percent. Like, yeah, you know, and they would do it like that.
And everybody would take money. And as the mint came, the money would all get distributed. And
then there was no money left in these projects. Yeah. That's what was happening.
Right. Yeah. And then they had a rely on royalties, which were good and totally easy to rely on.
I know. Now they're not so much a reliable source of income. They're more like a little extra
bonus. Yeah. But they're definitely not like that was almost not. It was telling us it's not
sustainable for the royalties to be your only, you know, way that you're bringing in money as a
project. So that's why I was seeing a lot of these projects raising or selling to their customer
base instead of just giving free, free, free, you know, they're having to actually sell things and
make money to continue to run their business. Like a zoo kid. They did good. They did. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah.
Oh, no, but I didn't know what he's talking about is he getting more feelin the haggles.
Couple of days. Yeah. You got like two three days max of being the center of attention.
Good or bad. And then 30 is sitting on 30 million dollars. They're happy as he'd be right now.
They're happy as can be. Yeah. Over to Zuki. Zagabond is sitting pretty. So like we talk about
scammers and like beanies ostracized, but Zagabond is allowed to stick around. Well, I don't want
Zagabond on either. Yeah. A lot of you say say that. I just mean like the general sentiment of
the population. I feel like that's a scammer. That's a dude that will do anything. Yeah.
For somebody. Yeah. I feel like, you know, I don't know. I often feel like the the best thing
to do is to just not give that person your attention because it's just like the more attention
that gets put towards negative stuff like the more that that attention is still a currency.
It's still seen as a good thing, whether it's negative or positive attention. And so
regardless, if you're putting your energy towards something that you don't even believe in or
someone that you don't even back, it's just like you're just adding to the cycle and you're
just making them more popular. So that's how you why I don't want being on. That's how I believe.
I do think about that when you ask somebody on, like I like, I wouldn't mind having a controversial
people on having conversations, talking to them. I don't mind asking the tough question,
but you are in a sense platforming them, endorsing them. So it's kind of a double-edged. Yeah.
Who are the positive people? Who are some of the people that you think are like, like? Yeah,
in the space. Yeah, like two positive things. I mean, like Carly Riley, I've never seen her get into
a controversy. You know, she does, you know, she's doing like three or four episodes a week.
And she's traveling too. She's doing it on the road stuff now. Yeah, she's going to one of the
road ones. Yeah, go in the interview and she's having open-sea sponsor, her stuff. She's doing
them live. She's having the, whatever, you know, if she was interviewing Betty, for example,
all the dead cell elders could go and RSC key and it's like token gated for you to come to the
in real life interview. So she's doing really cool things. I do love what she's doing. And we're
going to be getting her bottle of gin soon. No way. Yeah, you're going to get a bottle of gin
from that. How? And if the NFT she sent will be able to be burned for a, oh my god,
burned or redeemed or whatever for an over-priced gin. I would label bottle of gin. Yeah.
I'll definitely be keeping the bottle. I know. I might drink it and then just keep the empty bottle
or I might just keep it on an open, I don't know. I'll probably keep my open. I've never had
gin actually. I don't know. I actually don't want gin. So maybe I'll just leave it on open.
Yeah. But that's awesome. I'm excited for that. That's great. Yeah, that was really cool.
Speaking of alcohol, side note. What is it called? So I don't know if you saw, you know,
that guy always his name shiv. I think that threw a party at that after party at that.
I remember. Yeah. Yeah. Okay. So I didn't end up going to that because I was burnt out with my
sister did. Anyway. So that guy ended up, he like tweeted out like maybe a week ago that he was
like coming out with a wine. And I was like, oh, like, I don't know. I just thought to support
because I was like, oh, he threw that cool party. Whatever. Like, there was like $100.
It was kind of expensive. But I bought it. And it's like 30% alcohol. So it's like super strong.
And I like tried something that was like super, super strong. But, um, but yeah, the school,
like he came out with a wine, I guess. Wow. So yeah, my little my little wine or something like that.
That's wow. 30% wine. I know. It's supposed to be kind of like a thought of as a good dessert.
Wine, you know, how those are typically higher up content in this smaller quantity that you drink.
So it's kind of like that. But, um, I just, uh, I just don't know why I bought it. No, I mean, no,
literally, I didn't mix my with like some juice and just like, yeah,
chug whenever I poured because I was like, oh, uh, but it was cool to support it. You know,
I don't really drink. I think the same thing about why like,
yeah, I'll have like bottles of wine. Let's be like, uh, it's just kind of like, uh, so alcohol.
I like, I hate the alcoholic taste. It's like, oh, it's like alcohol. Yeah, I don't know.
People are like, wine, I don't get it. I think they like tolerate it. Like, it's like cool to like it.
Right. Well, it's like fancy and bougie. Like, you know, like all the bougie people like wine.
So, uh, Google announced that, uh, that the, uh, play store will now have the ability to buy cell
and earn tokenized assets. Okay. I don't know what percentage they're going to charge. But,
yeah, it's good for NFTs. So like, if games or whoever wants to sell NFTs wants to be on there,
they can do that Starbucks one of their, with their Starbucks Odyssey, one of their new stamps
is going to feature a crew by Mike and your Johnson. Nice. That's neat. Yep. That's great. Yeah,
we had Ross on. She was talking about it a lot. Yep. Yeah. And you remember we had,
we, you were here when we had a bunch you won, right? Yeah. Yeah. He's one of the guys running
that star with us. Yeah. And, uh, Jackson Pollock, you know, Jackson Pollock, the artists from New
York from like the 50s and 60s who did like all like, uh, 3D slatters. Your recognizes work,
if you look them up. Okay. Um, actually, no, I don't recognize that, but I see what it is.
Okay. So Jackson Pollock, he's the only world famous artist, like contemporary from like the 50s
and 60s in New York. Well, nice. Yeah. So the floor of his studio is like all splattered with paint,
like was this style. And there's this company that's, it's like the Jackson Pollock his call is
like whoever runs his archive is going to be dropping these NFTs. And, uh, they're on ETH.
There are the word of them. And there's 125 of each. And you also get a museum quality print
with it that's hand numbered. Uh, they're costing 0.8 ETH, we're 1,500 bucks.
Approximately five, which is kind of cool. You know, it's, I've probably not something I'm going to buy,
but it's cool. You get the physical. And it's the first Jackson Pollock NFTs
of any sort. It's not like, you know, it's not him, obviously, but
instead of using thing, they're looking to raise $750,000. If they were doing it two years ago,
then probably raising five or 10 million times of change. Wow. The, okay. So, uh, edition of,
oh, four images is an edition of 125 each. When is this min happening? Do you know? It's coming soon.
Okay. On the website. So I can keep anybody updated that once, um, it didn't have an exact date,
but it did say July. Yep. Oh, July, this month. Yeah. Oh, okay. That was very so. Let me see
what the website. Let's see if I can find the website. Jackson Pollock. When I hear
son, I always think like, oh, in the next six months, like, you know, everything always takes longer
than you shouldn't. There's a collection of Jackson Pollock hunks on OpenC. Of course, there is.
Nice. Yeah. Like an old one from 2021. That's funny. Probably sold out too.
Probably did. I am not seeing the link anymore. Oh, it's fine. And let you know, yeah.
So it's, uh, but you know, it's Jackson Pollock. It's kind of neat. I don't know if it's going to get
any buzz. Probably not, but it's something that people are really an art or really into him. Yeah.
I came across one of his pieces. I think it was in like Amsterdam or Frog. It was a special exhibit.
It was, uh, it was Warhol and Jackson Pollock. And it's like this huge mural. And like, it's just,
his stuff is literally just like splattered paint. Well, you can see it was like all 3D when you can
like see in a person who's got an interesting kind of neat. Well, let's go away. He collabed
with Andy Warhol. Now that the museum just featured both. Oh, oh, right. They were like
contemporaries of each other. That's awesome. I love going to. I actually just went to a museum
this weekend. Um, what'd you do? I love. So give away yourself. Oh, yeah. Let me not. Well, basically,
I would just walk around this area that was really big and had a lot of stuff going on. And I
was the botanical gardens. I went to museum. Like, it was just really nice. Um, it was just nice.
Nice to be outside. It was a hundred. Yeah. It's been a hundred here too. It's been a hundred
humid. Oh my god. So hot. Yeah. That's been hot lately. Sun feels good though. I'm trying to get
some sun. Yeah. It's so nice. Get that vitamin D. Yeah. It's exactly. Yeah. Yeah. Okay. So
I think it's got one less thing left. Yeah. The other thing is our top 10 volume of the week.
Let's see what's going on over here. CryptoSlam.io. The old faithful
seven days NFT collection rankings by sales volume. Number one are the BRC 20s.
They're not specifically. Yeah. It's the, yeah, like the Bitcoin. It's not specific
collection, but like all the BRC 20s. Yeah. So like the way the way it comes on here, because you'll
see number four is the ordinal. So there's the other kinds of NFTs on Bitcoin. So it's interesting
that the BRC 20s are doing so much volume at $10 million. Bored apes is number two. The captains
is number three. God's unchained is number five. I said our ordinals is number four. God's
unchained. Good for me. My sister just the other day. She was like, we'll play in God's
unchained right now, if you're old. So crypto punks number six D. God's number seven. So rare
number eight D market on the mythos blockchain. Once again, which I always forget to look up and
figure out what it is. And a Zuki elementals that collection that just
yielded. Did you see dangling? Is it like accumulating those?
I know. Digling is a major a Zuki holder. Yeah. He's a leading elementals now. Well, he had
tweeted about like wanting to like trade for, I don't know, more aesthetic ones that he liked
and stuff. And guess he was doing a bunch of trades. But yeah, he's, yeah, he's a big Zuki
bag holder. I think that's one of the reasons it does so well. Yeah, definitely. Yeah. I mean,
so he's kind of the pranxi of our time. Like people used to really, I think in like
2017, 2018, 2020 people really, and yeah, 2021 too, people really looked up to pranxi as like the
big whale buying all the stuff that he buys you buy. Dingling, I feel kind of took that role,
like, and, and you know, not necessarily dingling has some, like, and dingling is the type that,
okay, he buys like one, not one, like hundreds of everything, you know, he just has so many
different NFTs. But the difference between him and pranxi is that pranxi actually sells and
makes money, and dingling just buys and holds and doesn't sell shit. Literally, I don't think he's
ever even sold an NFT. Like, I remember one time between that. Yeah. Which he made his, I'm pretty
sure he made his money by being super early in crypto. Like, superser were like freaking must have
about Bitcoin and a dollar or something, but you probably be probably bought like a million
each. Yeah, like, but apparently, apparently, he's like young too. Like, he's not like some like,
you know, older established person, you know, when he come on, when he come on the,
huh? No, I've invited him before, but he's never been on any type of thing. And, uh,
how about the very anonymous? Yeah, right? Oh, he did go on the first minstrel, literally,
I think in 2021, like years ago, and they did a voice changer for him. So actually, maybe, maybe
I should break out the voice changer day. Yeah. Yeah, right? That'd be fun to have him on talk
about all his purchases. I know. Let's get that dude. Yeah. Um, but, okay, yeah, I guess that's
kind of all we have for this week, which was a solid amount of news. Yeah, that was a good one.
It was a good fun episode. Yeah. Um, yeah. So thanks everyone for listening to this
