Hello my darling. This is like the 15th time. Getting these off the ground is so odd and weird
and I'm being like alone in my office. I'm telling you, this is probably realistically
the 12th intro I've tried to make because it's just like sometimes they just start off weird
and then I can't like hit a stride because this is so, I mean imagine talking to yourself. It's so odd.
Hi, I'm just going to stick with this one. Just honestly, I don't have the bandwidth.
I got to caramelize sleeping. I got to like do this while she's in her bed. It's time to wake her up
soon. How is everybody doing? Thank you for being so engaging with this Q&A. I got so many
questions and you know what's so funny? So many of you want like so many of you want advice on
moving in with your partner. So I don't know why that's in the air right now, especially since
it is about to be hopefully like a Hawkerel spring into summer. Okay, let's go through some of these.
I just got one of those like little dangly things on my phone and I feel like I'm
14 and it just keeps making like this noise. Okay, advice for people switching careers, advice for
building community. I just talked about this yesterday at my high school's career day,
which I was really excited to be a part of and it's like mostly because I just wanted to say
what I was actually able to say, which is that I wish I could put my hands on all of their shoulders
and like shake all their worry out of their body because your career might change and it's not
normal to know what you want to do when you're in high school and things are going to happen and
it's really all about that pivot and it's really all about like the grit and the character building
moments that happen in between everything, especially when you make a big change because there were
women speaking on the panel with me, like most people whose careers had started out in a completely
different place and like some of them became lawyers and thought they were going to be
you know, psychologists or therapists, you just never know what life is going to bring you. So
I would say any advice for that is like, you know, this is like a big
Bernay Brown moment, you got to lean in, you got to dare greatly. And in terms of building network,
I mean, it was really interesting to speak at a career day with like so many different
women who had a completely different career path. So there were a lot of women who are
lawyers and doctors and some of their newscasters. But what I learned is that there are so many
careers that have like dedicated networking events. I know that to be true for my friends to do
real estate, but it's clearly very true for lawyers, which I loved and that was so cool.
Because that's not really like a thing in the creative world at all. There aren't like
mixers for photographers and graphic designers or creative directors or anything like that.
You know, it's like a matter of like, oddly enough meeting people at bars. And this is
why it is so important to always try to be as nice as possible to everyone. And I say try
because I think it's a very blanket statement to say like, be kind to everyone. Because obviously
that's how everyone should lead like in your life, because I think it's exhausting to be a dick all
day long. And so, you know, like, I always lead with kindness. I love letting people in in front
of me. And I love having nice interactions with people all day long. But I do think, you know, I say
that within the context of like, you are allowed to have a bad day or stick up for yourself or
have a moment where maybe you are going through something that's really important and heartbreaking
or devastating or physically really hard. And you're not going to always be able to be your best
self. And we need to give people grace for that. But I digress. I think it's important to understand
that you never know who you're going to cross paths with in terms of work. So like, there are people
that hung out at the bar that I hung out in New York that would hire me for jobs or who I would
work with later on jobs and people you meet at restaurants. And when I was a waitress, like,
oh my god, my girlfriend who owns the Frankie shop was like a patron at the restaurant where I
worked. And she would come in almost every week. And she was so chic and to die foreign. She always
had cell teens with blue cheese as deserved. Very French. And now we work together in a multitude
of capacities. And it's from literally me meeting her while serving her food. So I mean,
I think you just absolutely really never know who and where. And so I also really
suggest if this is within your personality, because I understand that for some people talking to
strangers is like the scariest thing in the world. But truly, this is why I love to like spark up
conversations with strangers, because you never know who they are or what they do or how they can
connect in your world. And so I think like, you know, somebody else asked me like, how to network.
I think that's really it. But you know, everything is like so different now because we also have
like Instagram. And so you can connect with people online really easily or prejudge people. I did
something so bad the other day. My girlfriend was on a walk in like a popular walking place. And
it's like really handsome guy walked by and she said, hi, and then she saw him later, like kind of
in the same neighborhood. And he was like, Oh, I see you around like, you know, I would love to like
take you out or whatever, like fully after out like real life, IRL had seen her around
after out, like handsome guy. I'm like, so excited for her. And I did something bad, which is that I
fucking found him on the internet very quickly. Like sent her his website. And she got the
dick. And I was like, fuck, like, I shouldn't have done that because in real life, this man was to
die for her. And you know, she went from having like a really joyous moment, very like celebratory
moment, something that makes a woman feels so good about themselves. Any person who's getting hit on
not sorry, shouldn't they just women anybody. And that's like what you dream of is having
something happen like that in real life. And I ruined it by showing her his internet presence.
And not that it's even bad at all. But you just have everything you need to just put someone in a
fucking box. So I would say there's good and bad sides to that always. Okay, what do you do? I
this is questions amazing. What do you do for vaginal health, UTI prevention and yeast infections.
So that all that yummy stuff kind of like figured itself out as soon as I was able to get
like my Candida under control and get like my microbiome and it's good in like a good place.
And hold on, I'm googling the name of the probiotics. I fucking love this probiotic. Where is it?
Goddamn it. There is a probiotic that I love that helps with yeast infections. And I used to take
it regularly. Goddamn it. Why can't I remember the name? Oh, hi, Jaro, it's called femdopolis.
Okay, this is I've been taking the ship for like 20 years and it's good if you're traveling.
You're like in a bathing suit a lot or meeting people in a sexual manner. I don't you know,
it's Jaro's femdopolis is too die for. It just creates a happy little place. And then any sort of
like I know that we're not supposed to really be using like any external products. Definitely not
internal product. I guess we can use external. We're not supposed to use internal products on our
vaginas. But I use Honest Company. I like to use their wipes and they have like really good products
for BV. So I just kind of like make sure that in terms of my vaginal health, like I am very
stocked up on femdopolis that I am constantly kind of doing. I need to do another one actually.
I have to message my doctor, I can Dita Cleanse. You just want to make sure that like all
everything in your whole body is good. So I do that. So I make sure that I have Jaro on hand
all the time. And I sometimes will take it like consistently. I can be bad with my supplements
even though I'm like usually really good about it. But right now I've been fine. So if things
start to get funky, I'll definitely start taking the Jaro and I always take it on I'm traveling.
And then all the Honest Company products in terms of like tampons and pads and wipes and washes,
especially their BV products are just absolutely to die for it. Okay, let me go on to the next one.
How did you clear your acne? That also kind of started, I mean, it was so bad in my 20s,
but it really started kind of dying down when I kind of got like my gut in check. And you know,
we have a lot of podcasts that talk about that. So maybe I'll link some of my previous
podcasts in the summary of this, but we've had some like great founders. We have like so many
episodes on where we have one really good episode on acne, which I'll link. And then
really just like getting like my gut and my hormones in check and that has been through
doing everything that I do to kind of like manage my PCOS. And then I'm going to do actually a
website post. I'll have it come out coordinating with this episode of all of my favorite products
for acne, because I still, I mean, have a huge pimple in my forehead right now. And there's just
like cool stuff like little devices that I have that are really helpful advice for someone trying
to decide whether or not to have kids. This feels like I'm not like in a position to give such advice.
Like, I'm not God, and I don't want to give you the right or the like any, I don't want to
leave you in the wrong direction. But I think it depends on whether or not you have,
if there's a million factors here, like in general, are you single and trying to figure it out? Like,
I think what I would do if I was, I'm just gonna, I don't know any context here. Let's say you're
a single woman in your mid 30s. What I would say is you need to
not need to, I would suggest freezing eggs and embryos. So it's always on the table if you want
to be a mother without a partner or start that journey by yourself until you find a partner.
I would then say, if you're in a relationship, like, do you have a partner that has the desire
to have a child? I feel like that's, you know, a conversation that really should happen between
two people. And if one person has an intense desire and somebody's on the fence, I would say,
go for it. You have a partner who knows what they want and you don't want to deny,
that from somebody. But if, you know, this is something that alters your life in an extreme
way in every possible aspect. And, you know, obviously, like once you meet your child,
a lot of things that are scary go out the door because you've just become a different person.
But I do think that I would majorly consider that this is something that you should want.
And I would suggest not that it matters at all, but if it's something that you're nervous about
making sure that you have a support system, friends, I can help you or family members close by that
can just pop in one night and babysit, help you get your work done. You know, you have to think,
realistically, and everything is temporary, right? But you have to think like, okay, like,
besides being pregnant, like, do you have the capacity to care for a child like logistically?
Do you have to work full time? Are you able to work from home? Are you able to juggle both?
Can you, are you willing to send your child to daycare? You know, those are all things that
really need to be considered because it's, you know, those day-to-day levels of
of, it's those day-to-day levels of stress that can really wear you down, really wear you down.
And so you want to be somebody who can think, and I don't even like to say this because you can't put,
you know, like, what level of stress is too much to create a human, right? Like, this is a,
we're talking about a human, and that ultimately is like the most beautiful thing in the world that
you could do. But, you know, you also are important and you need to be a good parent,
unfortunately, you have like, there is like a bit of responsibility that comes along with
creating a little angel that you want to make sure can be tended to, rambling. But, you know,
it really truly is absolutely magical. Like, I can't believe I get to have Carmella be my child
every day. I can't believe it. And yeah, but I like, I have, like, I have like, I always want
to be really clear that I have a lot of support because I don't want to say by any means, like,
oh, having a baby is so easy. You know, I have a friend who works really hard to make her scenario
work. She has her dad lives an hour away. And so she's able to like, you know, drive and drop off
her baby for a night or two. Like, her dad is willing to help her in that way, or her mom will
fly out. You know, their help is, is important for everyone's mental health.

zone. And that's what I love. Vionic, Vionic harnesses science to make shoes that bring balance
to our lives. I notice right away when a cool shoe just starts to hurt my foot. It's something
I used to make fun of my mother for. And now I have entered that era. And that's why
Vionic exists. They are shoes designed for dynamic movements. You feel energized and confident all
day. So whether you need sneakers for a long walk or just some sneakers for the office or
some shockingly comfortable heels or slippers to recover, Vionic offers shoes for every day,
all day and literally every occasion. I got a fabulous pair of their sneakers. And I honestly
cannot believe the difference I feel in my whole body. This was a call out from my chiropractor.
She was like, I can keep helping you, but you're really not helping yourself. And I needed some
arch support and he's my lower back feeling better. And that's how I feel. I feel better.
This Vionic exclusive VO motion technology aligns and balances the whole body starting from your
feet. The brand was created by scientists who have proven the notion that balance begins with
your feet and moves through your body. So that's why a lot of us have like back pain and neck pain
and all those things that all just like starts from the bottom, right? I can't tell you like,
especially working from home. I was wearing no shoes or like an ugly pair of the purse.
And I wear those sneakers all day and I can like walk Carmella to the park while I'm on a call or
just even ripping around my house like going outside walking the dogs doing this going to the kitchen.
So much better. I have to tell you these are fabulous. And if you use code best at checkout,

I have no money or house I feel behind your child. Like we are so in a weird place, right?
Because our parents were married with children and owned a house by 25. I met a woman yesterday
who is pregnant for the first time at 46. You have that's 20 years older than you, my darling, right?
You need to definitely not compare yourself. That sense of urgency to attain a life that you
think you are supposed to have is robbing you of your current life. You hear me? Lean in.
Big, Brown, episode, apparently. You are exactly where you're supposed to be.
Exactly where you're supposed to be. Unless, of course, you're in an unhealthy relationship or
need help, but it just seems like what you're comparing yourself to are people that have
girl. I don't think anybody right now at 25 has that much money. I didn't have any money at 25
at all. I really want you to not compare yourself to this weird founder culture. Someone said
something at the, I don't know who she was. I think she was actually a faculty member that I
didn't know or had never met before, but career day, someone who was leaning a panel looked at
all the girls. She was like, the advice I want to give is be nice to everybody, because one day,
you're all going to be bosses, and you're all going to be founders, and you're all going to be
the leaders in your industry, and you want to make sure that you're managing people correctly,
and you never know who's going to help you get there. All things I agree with. But this message
that everyone needs to be a boss and everybody needs to be young and rich, and everybody needs to
found a multi-million dollar company, I think is so irresponsible. We've had this big wave of that,
and thank God that we are witnessing a complete shift in how this country operates completely.
That young people all over the world are starting brands and changing the way that we interact with
technology and food and each other, and it's really special. What a privilege to watch, but that
doesn't have to be you at all. You can also carve your own path. The job that you might want right
now, you 25-year-old, you can create it for yourself. It doesn't exist yet, right? So,
take that load off of your shoulders, live in the moment, be your absolute best self,
and you will end up exactly where you're supposed to. I will tell you this, and I always say this,
you're going to wake up one day, and you're going to be a lot older than you are now,
and you're going to miss the freedom that you have at your age now. And you're going to be like,
fuck, there is nobody. I've never heard any of my friends say, oh, I wish I had more money at 25.
All my friends who are my age talk about how much fun they had at 25, and how much
networking they did accidentally just by living in this world and working hard and meeting people
and going out and being social. I mean, this is your time. You also haven't even hit your Saturn
return yet, so your world might get flipped upside down in the next few years, and you want to be
able to be available for that. You are totally fine. Okay, I'm 28. Ex-boyfriend proposed to me
while we were broken up, and I don't know how to handle this. I need way more context for this.
Oh my God. He pulled a Hail Mary on you, huh? I mean, I'm going to, you know what, I'm going to
DM you, and then we're going to get, I want to hear the whole thing and then
dobby day now, I can dissect this advice for living together for the first time. Okay.
Allow grace for adjustments, right? Don't get annoyed at little things, but also be honest about
things that can give you the ick. I know all the things that pissed dobby day off, and I recognize
that if I do things that are very light adjustments for him, he has a better experience living with
me and vice versa. He knows that I don't like to put gas in the car. Dumb example, right? And by
the way, we share vehicles. So this is part of living together and sharing things. If I'm out,
or if I'm at home and he knows I'm going to be locked to my office for a certain amount of hours
working and he has a bit of time in the day, he will go and get my car washed and filled with
gas for me because it bothers him when the car is low on gas and it bothers him when the car is
dirty. It doesn't bother me. So it like, you know, the first year, there was some push and pull.
Why don't you get the car cleaned more? Why don't you make sure the car is always full of gas?
I'm like, I don't have necessarily the bandwidth for that all the time, and it's not at the top of
my priority list. And so instead of us constantly getting in this fight, why don't you do this?
Well, I'm not going to change my personality here and have something that's never bothered me
since I was fucking 16 years old, all of a sudden bothered me, right? He now does it for me. It's
his like little meditative thing because he loves washing the car. He loves filling up the
tank. He loves checking on the car. He loves taking care of those things. And it makes me feel safe
that it's done. And he knows how much joy it brings me. And that's like a thing that we used to
bitch about that is now turned into something that's like become our love language. Certain things like,
you know, he does not like to go to bed with any dishes in the sink. There are times where I'm so
tired and I just put the dish in the sink. And you know who always says that? My goddamn mother,
my mom will not wash a dish after dinner when she's had her like evening glass of wine and she's
cozy and winding down. If she has any meal, especially if like, you know,
Dovin and I are out at an event or we go to dinner like when I come home, whatever she's made for
herself is sitting in the sink. I'm not going to yell at her about it anymore. Right? Like,
I'm not going to get in between, am I going to bitch at my mother? I'm not going to let him
get annoyed by it. So now what happens is when I get home, like usually she'll still be on the couch
like about to fall asleep watching whatever show she's watching. I will kiss her and I will go in
the kitchen and I will clean up whatever is in the sink. So when Dovidade comes downstairs,
first thing in the morning, he's usually up before us. The sink is empty. Little shit like that.
Just you don't need to dig your heels in to prove a point about, you can in certain things
because you can be like, you know what? If my fucking shoes are around the house,
sometimes that happens. No sweat off your back. Like we're lucky that we get to live here.
Sorry. You know, like, I think there's some room for that kind of attitude, but also like if you
can at certain points, just be like, you know, I'm always walking by my fucking shoes sitting somewhere
and I'm like, I could take them upstairs. I'm like, do the right thing or I can fucking do it later.
You know, it's like, there's like push and pull sometimes. Sometimes you want to do it sometimes
you don't, but I do think that it's this fine line between being like, hey, you know, these are
things that make me feel safe and comfortable. And like, I try to whenever I can turn those moments
into an act of kindness and me, you know, I turn it into love language as often as I can.
I've been posting a lot of my little healthy habits on Instagram lately. And one of them that
a lot of you have been very interested in is armor. Armor is Colostrum. Colostrum is what you

not shaving as frequently in the winter, but it's time to get friendly with my razor again.
The sun is shining and honestly, there is no better razor out there than my Athena club
razor. Shaving used to be something that I dreaded, but I think the Cubs products seriously make it
more fun and easy. It's the prettiest razor I've ever seen and it's gentle on my skin and it leaves
me moisturized and smooth and bump-free. I noticed it this morning when I was doing hot yoga and I
had little shorts on. My legs were up in the air. I was like, look at these glistening
gams. I was actually very impressed. Usually, I'm like, ew, no one look over here. But I got my
Athena club razor and so I've been using it. You know what else is? Great is the damn shaving
cream. It's a 10 out of 10. The Baby Cubs razor has thousands of five-star reviews from customers
and is designed with a built-in skin guard to prevent razor burn, which I used to have
so bad. It's super gentle on my curves. Plus, the razor blade is surrounded by water-activated
serum with shea butter and hyaluronic acid, which is the holy grail for skin care, which is why
I was extra glistening today. The best part is the razor kit. It's only $10 and it comes with
two blade heads magnetic hook for the shower and your choice of a handle color. I went with pink.
And with Athena club, you never have to think about blade refills because you choose how often
you want to replace your blades and they just get shipped to you for free. You'll never restock
with an overused blade longer than it should be, which I am the queen of and the queen of super,
like crazy. And like I said, the shave foam is just the best thing that I go over use. And they
also have, like I said, the most amazing shave foam that will leave your skin so soft, so hydrated,
so smooth, especially your skin. You care with the Athena club razor kit head to Athena club.com

you're busy with work? Oh, you asked a lot of questions tip to support a husband finding his
place and path in a new country. What makes you happy? Okay. How do you make space for vacations
when you're so busy with work? They become stressful. The like coming back is always a challenge. I
work on the plane obviously and then I always work while I'm on vacation because waking up and
having breakfast while answering my emails or if I'm like laying on a beach, like I'm obviously
gonna I'm on my phone all the fucking time. So I'm not someone who's like, I'm gonna check out.
I would rather just do a little bit of work every day and know that I'm on top of it and know what's
going on and not get like a stressful text from someone. And like work is how I'm able to go on
vacation. So I always there's yeah, I'm yeah, I mean, I just always kind of work it. How do you
get through the first trimester? You know, getting through the first trimester is a challenge.
And as I like, you know, approach the time where we are ready to start trying again, I'm like,
I was telling someone the other night, like, I'm like working on a project. And they were like,
when are you gonna try to get pregnant? And I was like, I kind of just want to get this project
finished. And then we'll try. And they were like, you can't ever plan a baby around work. And I was
like, like they said that and I was like, yeah, there you can't, like, you absolutely can't, like
that's crazy. And then part of me was like, why can't I? Like, let me just finish this fucking
project. Because last time I was pregnant, like the day that this his sperm hit that fucking egg and
made a baby, like day one, I was like, Oh, I am tired. And guess what? I slept for 12 weeks.
And I can show you that in a visual representative visual representation. I can show you that and
on Instagram, like, I've always wanted to do a carousel of all the places I'm sleeping.
Because I was constant. I was always working for bed. Like, there were days I just got up and
would like just get right in the bathtub. Because like, you know, everyone's pregnancies are so
different. Some people that I know didn't experience any uncomfortable moments at all in their first
trimester. Some of my friends couldn't even keep food down. I was, I was just really tired. Like,
things that I loved, foods that I loved, I didn't want. But they weren't, it wasn't like
that deep. I just like didn't want my favorite hot sauce anymore. And then like,
I wanted stuff that was like a little bit more plain. And then as soon as I entered my second
trimester, that all went away. And I was normal. And I was given a huge burst of energy. You know,
something weird happens where when you're pregnant, you kind of forget that like every single person
has been born before. And you think you're the only pregnant person because it's just a lot.
And then all of a sudden, like you get to the point again where you like can't wait to do it
all over again. So that clearly says like, that's a big like this to shall pass lesson, right?
You're totally going to be fine. You have to let your close network, if you're comfortable,
know that you are pregnant. So you can feel support and you can feel love because it can be very
isolating to be alone while you're pregnant. You know, you feel like you can't tell anyone,
you're acting out of character. Everyone's like, what's going on with that person? Then you're like,
oh my God, maybe they know that I'm pregnant. Maybe I don't want to tell people I'm pregnant
because if you're like me, if I'm miscarriages, you know, it's a really tricky, weird time that
can feel really alone. So I would say just like have your people who can know, you know, who knew.
You know, who knew that I was pregnant the most were all the people that I emailed with on a daily
basis, but like don't know very well, you know, like people from the companies that I work with
because my your brain fog in your first trimester is so intense that my emails sounded like I was
drunk and I'd have to be like, I need, I have to apologize for like, I read though, I like reread
the email, I said, you know, it makes sense like I'm pregnant. And it was really sweet. It made me
feel safe. It made me feel safe that I was understood. You know, it made me feel like had like a little
bit of an exciting thing, you know, I'm somebody who was willing to share. So for me, having, you
know, all the people that I would tell that I'm pregnant, I'm really comfortable saying I would
have a miscarriage too. And I think a lot of that comes down to it all kind of comes down to that,
you know, some people are very open about having a miscarriage and wouldn't mind telling people
when it happens. I mean, I remember with my last miscarriage, I, you know, when I was pregnant right
away, I was a family friend's house and I didn't drink anything and my friend's dad was like,
why aren't you drinking? And I was like, I'm pregnant. And I was like, super newly pregnant.
And then after my miscarriage next time I saw him, he was like, how's the little bean doing? And I
was like, Oh, I'm like no longer with me, you know, but like, he hugs me and it felt nice to feel that
comfort and then he poured me an extra big glass of wine. And then we just kept it moving. And,
you know, I just kept the faith. So I think like, yeah, having people around you and then
man, like trying really hard to just, oh, I don't know, you know, but I do think that there is
something to leaving the house, you know, I was pregnant during quarantine and a lot of us have a
work from home schedule. And a lot of people don't. And I will say that like, not sitting around
all day and thinking about it, my computer screen, I would just be looking at my computer
screen and be like, I don't, I can't even like, I don't even know what I'm looking at. But like,
getting outside actually kind of helped a little bit. This is weird, but do you do your taxes and
accounting curious how creatives get it done? I was doing all that stuff and I was doing it very
poorly. And so I realized as my career got bigger and, you know, I'm in, so I'm in S corp.
Get paid through a million different 1099s and withholding taxes and all my finances and
what can we written off and what's a business? I mean, it's exhausting. And it's not how my brain
works. And so last year, I had like a serious conversation with my manager. And she was like,
lesson, like, if you are going to grow yourself into the business that you're kind of like on your
way to being, you need like a team and you need to take certain things off your plate.
And what I've learned, and I learned this probably in the last like 10 years is there are times where
invest, where it's very clear that investing money in the right places makes you more money.
So, you know, I mean, like, I have friends who, especially, you know, all my friends who are
independent contractors, it's like really rings true. But like, there's something almost about,
like, I remember when we like got to the place in our lives where we started in like getting our
own places instead of having roommates. And it was like, Oh, like, should I like, should I
get my own place? Like, should I spend, you know, this much money a month on an apartment?
And I've gone through this conversation, you know, with so many of my friends, whether it be me,
like when I moved to Venice, and I was like, like, this is like my first apartment where I'm spending,
like, kind of like grown up many to like live alone. Like, should I be spending this money? Is this
smart? So I asked a bunch of my friends, and then I've had this conversation with probably like,
25 of my friends where it's like, okay, like, Pia, like sending me a link to an apartment,
like, what do you think? Like, should I do it? And it, in all of these conversations, at some point,
somebody says there's something that happens when you sign a lease on an apartment that's like a
little bit more, you know, it's like your first like scary lease that you have to be responsible for.
It's almost an odd, like, act of manifestation to like, bring more money into your life. I swear.
And it's like agreeing to like, sign that lease on that car that's a little bit more money than
your last, or the apartment that's a little bit more money than your last, you know, if you're in a
place where you can do one of those two things, you just are saying like, I'm fucking ready, like,
I will be making more money, and I can afford this. And by the way, if you can't, and if something
happens, you will absolutely figure that out too, you know, but I think why, you know, this is always
the lesson why operate from a place of fear operate from a place of, of wealth. And I mean,
wealth in all aspects of your life, not even money, like abundance, you know, like always
think in abundance. If you are listening to a podcast, you have access to a device,
you're already in abundance, especially if you're listening to someone like me who's not like,
you know, you're not spending your time listening to like a doctor. This is like fluffy stuff that
we talk about with each other, you know, for the most part, right? So you're already in abundance.
So when my manager said that to me last year, I was like, okay, and so I started like kind of
getting like a little team together. I work with a lawyer that has made a huge difference for me.
I've made a lot of bad deals in my life a lot. And a lot of the time, if you are a young entrepreneur,
you can find a lawyer that understands that maybe right now you're not making a lot of money,
but one day you will, you can come up with an amazing payment system with that person. And so,
you know, I have an amazing lawyer who reached out to me who's like, I'm very familiar with what
you do. And I can really help you and get you those better deals and get you to the next place in
your life. And she is a huge part of my life. And there are many things that she looks at and
pings me on. And thank God for her. When it comes to finances and taxes, I was spending,
I did the math on how many hours a week I was spending on trying to figure out what money was
coming in and what was going out and how to handle it all and where it should go and how much I
should withhold and how much I should spend. And it was taking up time that it could be used for
making money and doing my content and working. And I was behind on things. And I didn't want to
put the jobs that I had in jeopardy because I was trying to figure out our finances. So,
I now have a team that I work with. And they handle all of my businesses and they handle us and they
do my taxes. You know, the price that I pay them includes them doing my taxes. They do it for
Berencini. They do it for me. And that has been a huge, huge life-changing moment because now,
you know, like where I would like owe money some years, like there were a million things that I
could write, you know, all of that. Like, so I have a team, you know, so between like
them and my lawyer and then, you know, my team member that works just with me and my
managers, like I have a whole little team and that's how everything operates, you know.
It's all very thought out and there are a lot of amazing people involved. We just got PR,
which I'm so excited. And like, that was, you know, it's with someone that I've known for 10 years
and worked with on many other things. And he was like, it's time. Like, I think we should be working
together. And like, you know, like also, if you set up your businesses, like in a way where you leave,
you always leave, like, you know, let's say responsibly, like 10 to 20% of the company to have
equity that can be in exchange for work, you are fucking cruising, you know. So, you know, we have
them deals with some people that have like little bits of equity in our businesses in exchange for
services and is a great way to get shit done that works for everybody because the company is in the
best interest of everybody on hand. Our next partner is Athletic Greens. I take a G1 by Athletic
Greens every day, one scoop with water, sometimes I'll throw it in a smoothie. And guess what, I
got a dabbing day and my mom doing the same because especially with those two, they're not really
up on their health like I am, right? I take again, one scoop first thing in the morning,
now I make three glosses for each of us, and we just make it a little routine to like,
chug that good stuff. And why we do it is because there's a daily multivitamin in there. There's
minerals, there's pre and probiotics for your gut health, there's adaptogens, there's a green
blend. All of that is literally in one scoop. I very quickly noticed I had more energy, my
immunity was better, I was way less bloated. That's like kind of what I hear the most from
everybody is you just get like glowy and you're less bloated because it helps with your digestion,
it also helps with hair, skin and nails, it helps you feel great, it helps you sleep, like what does
this stuff now do? You know that I am especially obsessed with taking it when I travel because you
just never know what you're going to be eating and this is all the gummy stuff that your body
understands. If you are looking for a simpler and cost effective supplement routine, athletic
greens will give you a free one year supply of vitamin D, which we all need, and five free travel
packs with your first purchase and don't sleep on those travel packs because it makes it so
easy to just pop these things in your bag and take them wherever you go. Just go to athleticgreens.com
slash best, that's athleticgreens.com slash best. Okay, I'll do one more. Gosh, there are a lot of
dealing with fears of loss of induality and coolness and freedom when becoming a mom.
You know, that's a really powerful question because
what a weird thing, right? You like want to be a mom and you try so hard and you do all the things
to become a mom and then all these very seemingly selfish things pop into your head like,
oh my god, my body is changing and wait, now am I just a mother? And I haven't ever really talked
about that because I assumed that that was like a selfish thing to think and it's not because being
your best self is what's best for your child. You know, obviously there's not really a return
policy on a kid. So it's not you're like, oh, I'm not cool. I don't want to do this anymore.
I don't you know what's so funny is like those thoughts did go through my head and then I like
looked at my community and like everybody's having kids and it didn't make them not cool.
Like nothing really changed in terms of cool back there. And what a fucking time
because I just see all these women and so many women that I admire and I look up to
and I love watching their pregnancy journeys. I love watching them become moms. I love watching
the fullness and the joy and the ease of a modern day mother and how it doesn't affect
work in the negative way. I mean, listen, I say that understanding that I have many friends who
feel like they don't get certain perks or respect at work because they are moms and you know,
had to take that time off. And that's definitely something that happens. But if we're talking about
this specific, you know, I can't speak for everybody and I can't speak for every industry because
there clearly are so many disadvantages. Unfortunately, that still happen and they're not fair. But I
think thank God, hopefully we're working through that. I just think that you have all these odd
fears and anxieties that pop up and they're just kind of made up because there isn't like a single
person that I know or see online that's become a mother that hasn't become just like more inspiring
to me in every case and the confidence and the work and the, I don't know, I mean, my God, like,
I think of all the different women that I follow and it's just been nothing other than so cool.
And I'm so excited for all of our children to see what it's like to have a parent that can love
so hard and work so hard and actively show their children that like the world can be the kind of
world that like we all want to live in while all these fucking crazy horrible things happen around
us, unfortunately. But you know, it's okay to think those things. But I would let that thought
turn into dust and blow away just as quickly as it appeared in your brain because it's not real and
your thoughts, unfortunately, can be felt by every little cell in your body. So let's get that
out of your head as quickly as possible and fill your head with beautiful things like how
full your life is going to be and how wonderful it's going to be and how much love you're going to
feel and gratitude, gratitude, gratitude, gratitude, abundance and gratitude. All right.
