In sports, there are some teams that just burn hotter.
And for a four-year stretch from 2010 to 2014, the Miami Heat were a team that ran so fiery
not only did the entire league have to adjust to them, but an entire city seemed to have
established its place on the sports map because of them.
A swag is different.
You know Miami, we just different.
I'm Israel Gutierrez of ESPN.
I'm hosting a new podcast called Four Years of Heat.
In this podcast, we're going to give you stories you've never heard before about a team you
only thought you knew.
We'll take you inside those four monumental years with Behind the Scenes Access and Insight
about one of the greatest NBA teams ever assembled.
You know, having an opportunity to team up with, you know, arguably the best trio to
ever play the game of basketball was amazing.
The Miami Heat team led by LeBron James, Dwayne Wade, and Chris Bosh set the city ablaze
upon their very arrival.
And there wasn't a dull moment in the four years that followed.
I have never, ever seen or felt anything like that.
From the very moment LeBron shook up the world and announced his choice to come to Miami
on a TV show.
We could have done better for the fans in Cleveland, and we could have been more sensitive to
their dramatic first season together and the crushing finals defeat.
To their first championship and everything that it required.
We knew what was on the line.
The look on LeBron's face, I got this, I got this.
To a second championship run that featured a clutch shot for the ages.
Back out to Allen, history for the fans!
Has that ball left my fingers?
It just felt like it floated.
To what it finally took to beat them and end that wild four year trip.
And this first turned the table.
That series made him realize, yep, we can't beat them.
We're done.
Come revisit a time NBA fans will never forget.
With exclusive newly recorded interviews with Ray Allen, Yudonas Haslam, Shane Batty
A, Dan Lebattard, Rachel Nichols, plus DJ Khaled, and many more.
The greats connect with the greats.
Winners work with winners.
Every year's of heat starting May 23rd on the iHeartRadio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever
you get your podcast.
